Also, a special thanks to all of
you who have tuned in to our
radio show as our second episode
went well and is opn the net. Our
third one will be recorded this
weekend. In 2007 we will be
having some 10 minute short radio
horror plays with our talk show
at the Racks
& Razors Radio Show.
On a similar chord, Amanda
"Black" Christmas
(Racks and Razors News Host, IMDB) is
directing a ten minute horror
short called "The
Stranger" on the
weekend which stars Lorissa
Strocen, Eroca Zales, Derrick
Hill and Racks and Razors Host
Greg Russell Tiderington.
This short is reminiscent of old
studio horror films from the
1930's. The film is about a
mentally distraut young woman who
is being followed by a strange
man. Nobody, not even her
mother believes her. Is he
just a figment of her imagination
or is her life in danger?
The film is set to be released
December 28th 2006. For more
details please visit Skinned
Films webpage www.myspace.com/skinnedfilms . An
official site is in the works. We
will keep you posted.
Skinned Films also announces a
sequel of Room For Rent.
Room for Rent is
a horror short about an old lady
renting a quiet room out to
students.......but the students
keep disappearing. RfR
screened at the Horror
Dance Film Festival 2005. The
sequal will be shot in early 2007
with a late spring release. You

For Rent at www.myspace.com/skinnedfilms or at http://www.gregtiderington.tk/
November 6,
2006 - A new flick
on DVD of a mutated
canniballistic street gang!
Sounds gruesome!
The only
thing worse than a street gang is
a cannibal street gang! I'd bet
my lunch on it. Andy & Luke
Campbell, creators of the
Splatter Rampage cult classics DEMON
SUMMER and MIDNIGHT
SKATER, have returned
with their biggest and most
ambitious film yet -- Splatter
Rampage's grue-packed THE
RED SKULLS (coming from
Tempe Video in January). The Red
Skulls have been the dominant
street gang in town for years...
but everything changes one night
when gang leader Uri sees his
best friend hacked to pieces and
chewed to bits by a rival group.
Uri is about to discover that no
matter how tough you are, you
don't mess with a mutated,
cannibalistic street gang!
You've seen her in 'Saw'
and the two gruesome sequels.
However, South Carolina native
Shawnee Smith has quite a horror
past --- actually mainly a horror
remake past which includes
updatings of such chillers as 'I
Saw What You Did...And I Know Who
You Are' (1988), 'The
Blob' (1988) with Kevin
Dillon, the 1998 'Carnival
of Souls' reworking, and
the 1997 minseries remake of 'The
Shining' with Steven
Weber and Rebecca DeMornay. Smith
has also been in the adaptation
of the King miniseries 'The
Stand' with Gary Sinise,
Laura San Giacomo, Ruby Dee,
Ossie Davis, Rob Lowe and Molly
Ringwald.

September
27, 2006 - Tons of
news!!! A new underground horror
film is in post-production, a
P.J. Soles news bit, a Racks
& Razors Internet Radio Show,
Masters of Horror events, Eye for
Terror on DVD a Limp Bizkit
acting gig and news on a new
short.
Last summer an
independent underground film by
Cinema Image Productions titled 'BARRICADE'
just wrapped.The movie will be
available WORLDWIDE on DVD this
January. The film stars
Dante Tomasellii actress Raine
Brown (Horror, Satan's
Playground) and
underground scream king Joe Zaso
(5 Dead on the Crimson
Canvas, Demonium,

The film was shot in Germany.
What a travel!Check out www.myspace.com/barricademovie for more
info.
It seems like 'The
Devil's Rejects' has
brought a lot of horror people
out of at least
semi-retirement...and the loyal
horror fans are loving it! Take
for example PJ Soles (known for
her work in 'Rock and
Roll High School', 'Stripes',
and of course Lynda in
'Halloween' as well as 'Carrie',
'Bloodbath', 'Mirror
Mirror IV'). Also one of
PJ's other early horror flicks
was 'The Possessed'
- a kooky 'Exorcist' TV movie
ripoff with a killer 1977 cast --
veterans James Farentino, Joan
Hackett, Eugene Roche, and
Claudette Nevins as well as
newcomers Diana Scarwid, Dinah
Manhoff, Ann Dusenberry, and
Harrison Ford (!) -- it's not
such a great horror flick but
kind of a cool time capsule in so
many ways. Anyway, since her
horror reemergence with 'The
Devil's Rejects' PJ has
been on the horror scene as Mrs.
MacDonald in 'The Tooth
Fairy' about a bed and
breakfast experience gone
terribly wrong as well as the
mystery 'Murder on the
Yellow Brick Road'
(directed by actor Ross Hagen)
also starring horror fave Nancy
Kwan ('Night Creature')
and the thriller 'Dead
Calling'. We want more
PJ! Speaking of horror bring back
Nancy Loomis (Annie) as well!
Hear that Mr. Zombie, we're
bucking for them to have cameos
(better yet solid roles) in your
Sheri Moon remake!
Also, for everyone
who enjoyed internet horror radio
like at www.deadpit.com or www.ruemorgueradio.com.We are
going to be having an internet
radio show here too which will be
hosted by two Canadian locals
Greg Russell Tiderington (The
webmaster/critic/interviewer of
this site) and Heath Horejda with
special segments at times by Owen
keehnen and Brian Kirst along
with a news segment by Dave
Cockram. The show will feature
music breaks by underground rock
bands, reviews on movies both new
and retro and an interview by
actors or directors from horror
films. Check back here in a
couple weeks to hear our
Halloween special with an
interview by Linnea Quigley.
Queen of the
"Erotic Horror" world
aka "squeal queen"
Misty Mundae appears under the
name Erin Brown in Lucky McKee's
('Land of the Dead',
'Hostel') entry
in The Masters of Horror series 'Sick
Girl' which also stars
the amazing heiress to the horror
throne Angela Bettis ('May',
'Carrie', 'The
Toolbox Murders', 'Bless
the Child', etc.). In
case you aren't familiar this
Masters of Horror Series, get
familiar with them These are
basically hour long horror double
feature DVDs from today's hot
horror directors -- John
Carpenter, Dario Argento, Joe
Dante, Stuart Gordon, Don
Coscarelli, Mick Garris, John
Landis, etc. Another bit of
something kind of
cool/interesting about the series
is actor Steven Weber ('Desperation',
'The Shining', 'The
Temp', etc.) stars and
also adapted the screenplay (from
Bruce Jones' short story) for
Dario Argento's twisted entry 'Jennifer'.
Other stars who appear in various
episodes of the series include:
Billy Drago, Ron Perlman, Fairuza
Balk, Michael Moriarty, Laurene
Landon, cult actor supreme Udo
Kier, Matt Frewer, Jeffrey Combs,
Jason Priestley, and Lori Petty.
