A group of toymakers seek to use Andre Toulon's formula, now in the hands of Toulon's great-nephew Robert, to give life to a line of killer toys that they plan to unleash on Christmas Eve.

I find this to be very over the top and you will see what I mean when first starting this flick in which there's a new generation of Robert Toulon whom happens to be carrying on the tradition of what he does with the puppets as it was badly miscast as a father and daughter by having a discussion which looked more like two siblings plus things didn't look natural whatsoever. Meanwhile two villains are watching these two on a surveillance camera wanting those puppets which also looked corny to watch.
Then a group of thugs try to break in and rob the puppets and so fourth which looked silly when these puppets starts to attack but in a fun way. I got a kick out of watching this.
Suddenly the two villains whom are Erica Sharpe and Julian plan a cult ceremony as the Demonic Toys including the baby doll and the jack in the box in which none of this looked intense or horrifyingly effective like I would've hoped it to have been especially bringing a demon rising up and Erica doing business with him which looked over the top silly than horrifying.
What looked ridiculous the most was when Sgt. Jessica Russell is having a discussion with Robert after his place was broken into along with afterwards telling his daughter that she's crazy for him in which I rolled my eyes as this was a real case of real bad writing.
The odd cute moment when Robert is talking to his daughter about a situation with a toy ladybug zooming by in which they realise they are being watched.
More silly moments when Robert is assaulted by the baby doll which like most of the story so over the top and unfunny.
Then many pointless scenarios between him and Jessica when he tries to solve the cases of the Demonic Toys like opening up presents as well as puyying different weapons on the puppet's which paid a tribute to the Terminator franchise. This looked ridiculous.
Suddenly his daughter Alex is kidnapped by Erica's clan of goons so Robert tries to come to the rescue before her sacrifice is about to occur and Erica tries to prevent him from saving her wearing a kinky Christmas gear and trying to come on to him which looked as stupid as hell and a time waster too.
However, the film saved from bombing was when Toulon's puppets are battling against the Demonic toys which offered alot of great action and special effects. All of this looked silly still but alot of fun too in which we also see the odd explosions and struggling moments too.
Plus a nice heartwarming ending involving Jessica inviting the Toulon's for Christmas dinner which seemed to fit well into the story.
Bottom line is that this flick is an embarrassment to both of these flicks although Demonic Toys was always a silly horror flick but done in much better style. This wasn't produced by Full Moon Pictures which really explains the lack of chemistry. Saves from bombing due to the fact that it had decent special effects.

The acting pretty bad I must admit in which Corey Feldman (Robert Toulon) couldn't get into his role at all it was his worst performance ever from what I've seen him in as well as trying to sound like an older person in which he doesn't do the trick at all. He was overly annoying. I could tell that he wasn't too keen on his role but he could've pulled some of his weight into this and he didn't. He was someone whom was terribly miscast.
Vanessa Angel (Erica Sharpe) portrays an evil one in which she tried to act wicked but doesn't cut it at all in which she was silly and over the top. She needed some lessons big time since she was too goofy in her role. I found her to be a bit annoying especially when she acted lustfully charming during the quarter way throughout her performance.
Danielle Keaton (Alex Toulon) was a little better in her role in which she seemed to show off a nice girl attitude along with her spunky behavior into her part. Yet she let's her energy and enthusiasm down with her fearful attitude especially whenever she tries to scream. There needed to be a ton of improvements there big time.
Silvia Suvadová (Sgt. Jessica Russell) was the best in the cast in which she offers a great seriousness with her role as an officer of the law and know on how to behave seriously with her sharp attitude. Does well by acting charming too. She proved to be a worthy character actress.
Nikolai Sotirov (Julian) was another fine actor by having the right criminal looks and slick speaking into his part of the story and seems to be on the ball within whatever he had to do. He seemed to be a wkse choice by having a mobster type of look and appeal.

Eyes are popped out of a person's head and explodes.

Peter Bernstein was quite cheesy with his score on this flick having hokey typical comedic timing within everything that was placed in the campiness throughout the scene's in the story but at times there's some effective sounds too here and there when the action occurs quarter way through the story.

Robert Toulon: [turns off Christmas Pals commercial] I hate those commercials. They're so... misleading.
Alex: Don't be bitter, dad, just because they didn't hire you.
Robert Toulon: I'm not bitter that they're selling truckloads of those toys right now. I just feel bad for all the kids who are gonna wake up Christmas morning and be heartbroken when their Christmas Pals are lying there like a lump of dung.
Robert Toulon: Did I ever tell you the story of how the Puppets helped Old Man Toulon fight the Nazis in Germany?
Robert Toulon: You see this bruise? This is reality! Baby Oopsy kicked my butt!
