A group of people on a world wide search for oddities find themselves trapped in a nine hundred year old Italian castle when they accidently unleash the Demonic Toys.

I liked the opening with the credits as well as scene's of the wrecked demonic toys being recreated which is an impressive moment for a horror sequel but then it slopes when there's uninspired discussions by the people talking about finding the oddities in the castle they plan on going to which looked way too set out and quite cornballish to watch.
Yet with one of the people Dr. Lorca bringing the box of those toys and someone accidentally dropping them and then he gets stern with him did draw in a bit making me wonder if he will be behind the madness of what will happen later on in the story.
While the story gets rolling along someone tries to play with the jack in the box which is supposed to make you cringe wondering if something terrifying will happen but this even fails in order to do so as well as other situations like that.
Things pick up a bit but not much when Lillith places one of the toys set in a box down and everyone leaves which we see a camera rolling along as we all know it's this toy coming to life and creeping up on situations as this offering fair horror timing.
In between situations with this happening we see moments of Dr. Lorca and his mistress Lauraline which looked cheesy to watch and others interacting which was forgettable but then we have this toy summoning the others back to life which shows neat special effects on their eyes glowing and situations like that which made up for the other moments making it still watchable. When they come to life there's good camera shots on the objects as well as hilarious interactions mainly coming from the Baby Whoopsie doll as I was cracking up hearing it's vengeful words on deadly plans as this was hard to be taken seriously.
Also I spotted an interesting conversation between the two leads Caitlin and David which looked decent as it makes me wonder if there will be a romance between the two of them later on which seems to almost hint that as well as shwong them as two intelligent types.
Then there's more hilarious moments on the first killing these toys plan to do in which a fellow named Eric is trapped and Baby Whoopsie plays mind games with him as I was continuing to laugh my ass off which looked mildly cute before the terror starts to happen as you have to see this for yourself if you are in the mood to watch a bad film but watch it for these moments. There's nice bloodied killing with good close up shots like the jack in the box biting him and so fourth but more cheesy than intense for these horrifying situations.
Then more pointless situations that are hard to follow which becomes a bore once again but yet we have Lillith at her table planning something out and then there's a nice shot on a picture glowing as well as some rumbling and then good magical effects with a powerful beam of light entering her eyes and so fourth making this moment looking exciting adding good fanstasy and horror elements put together.
Rolling along I spotted another really lame moment with Bitterfield saying some prayers before going to bed which looked stupid and too set out to watch and then the killer toys are about to do their nasty deeds which made me happy as this character got on my nerves.
However more fun situations when Lillith is possessed talking to the others in her demonic voice as this looked quite powerful to watch and pretty well done too. Plus an interesting moment when she stands on the table and about to do some sort of a voodoo type of act which looked exciting to watch as well.
Then there's more funny and intense moments when the survivors struggle against the toys as some of this looked mildly strong along with Baby Whoopsie being cheeky once again adding more comedic timing to the story. Then the best is yet to come when we see a demon coming out of some sort of a well inside the castle and causing alot of havoc which looked greatly done with all the effects that we spot here.
Bottom line is that this is a half effort of a sequel with many funny moments and not at all scary but again the original one wasn't that scary either. Some okay special effects along with some cheesy writing in many of the segments but the comedy of the dolls make up a bit for all of that. Not a great film nonetheless and a hard story to follow at times.

The acting is quite over-the-top but however (Caitlin) seemed to strut her stuff in an okay fashion as she has the healthy girl next door looks and appeal as well as knowin her stuff by acting like an intelligent type by what she was talking about and so fourth. She brought some pizzaz to her role so deserves credit.
(David) also came across well onto the camera as a clean cut guy next door type as well as doing well with his lines and offering a nice charm to his personality. Certainly pulls off his part as the wise types that will succeed to survive in a horror flick. Shows some nice enthusiasm into everything he did.
(Lillith) stood out the most in her part of the film with her shirt like features as well as having a soft speaking voice. Knew on how to react to stuff as well as showing some fearful actions too. Really brought it on when she acts possessed by having a ton of energy along with what looked like a voodoo dance but at times she was a bit much. Still tried her best throughout her whole performance.
(Dr. Lorca) was way too much in his role and acted very mellodramatic. He couldn't seem to control his characteristics without making them natural. He was quite annoying by everything that he did with his madness and eccentric behavior. No gold star for this person as he was supposed to act mysterious but fails to do so.
(Lauraline) was another annoying character in which she seemed to have a hyped up speaking and whiney type of persona. I couldn't find that she made a good character but that's just me. Not everyone is cut out in the business and she doesn't deliver or what it took to be remembered for her role in this one.
(Butterfield) was the worst out of the cast in which he got to me big time as he didn't seem to know what he was doing and was stiff and too over the top with his lines. Didn't seem to know on how to relate to his role. He seemed to try way too hard only to make a fool out of himself. He wasn't cut for this business at all.

Someone is bloodied and stabbed
Head is clipped off (Really bad CGI effects)
Side of people's heads are torn

Richard Band and Kenny Meredith composed the music in which it is nothing too special but not too shabby either as there's some nice fantasy sounds for the opening credits. Plus in other areas some mellow harp chord plucking as well as some clarinet playing here and there with synthesizer music naturally which is used for productions such as this one. Plus there's some deep sounds expecially for a possessive scene as well we hear some vocalising sounds which was powerfully done. These moments I do admit were catchy for a supernatural horror flick such as this one.
