A California couple exchanges their home for a few weeks in the UK with a British couple from their home in which they hope to focus on their projects there. Yet they realise this home has a stalker that endangers the two of them in which the owners are of no help to them.

At first I wondered if this was going to be a good movie in which is a found footage horror flick. The camera didn't seem convincing in order to be that way and things seemed unnatural.
When the couple Matt and Ginny are travelling and making stops an attention grabber happens with someone in the distance as it looked like this person murdered someone and he screams towards the two that are watching him. This mysterious person wasn't convincing with his threats. Yet, these two try to run back to their vehicle as it kept me in suspense and terror if they will flee in time before this person gets them. I had to admit this was well done.
The two of them enter the home which they videotape the surroundings and they act happy and excited which we all know tht will change in time when the horror hits. This of course is common in found footage horror flicks.
Nice moments with Matt talking to the camera on what he plans to do with his writing as well as Ginny playing her keyboard and so fourth.
While they are in their home they spot a strange person wearing a hood in which this was supposed to make you jump out of your seat when Ginny screams but misses by a longshot. Also Matt confronts this person outside and this figure is acting creepy but it looks a bit amateurishly performed.
The story does get alot better while we keep watching it unfold.
When they return from having fun they spot something incredibly disgusting on their bathroom floor which is sick to look at indeed.
Many situations when they're asleep they hear noises at night as well as in the background someone is using a flashlight along with Matt trying to find out as to who is stalking them in their home. Alot of this is creepy to watch and well done.
Plus a moment when some noise happens like an alarm waking them up and springing down the stairs to see what is wrong.
They even set a bubble wrap on the floor to their doorway so they will knew as to who is coming into their house but when they hear this and tries to find their stalker they can't find him which makes things alot spookier. This is what makes a nicely mysterious horror film that will scare you more and more while still watching to outcome of all this.
What happens as well is that the two of them gets into dysfunctional arguments out of what is happening there. This drew great tension to the story and was well done and well put into the story showing that they are scared shitless on what is going on there.
Then they bring an officer there to talk to them about someone stalking them in their home as this was a great add on to the story. It was nicely set out especially when both Ginny and Matt get anxious talking to him about everything and this officer tries to be calm about it all.
While Ginny takes a bath things seem soothing and peaceful but of course we hear sounds as well as the bathroom door opening a little bit which was genuinely spooky. Things are still and then a surprising moment occurs as this time will make you jump out of your seat. Very well done.
Matt tries to solve the issue while trying to stay up for the night to try and catch this person but of course falls asleep. Also this looked powerful by what happens here which I won't give away which will please horror fans such as myself.
The next day Matt does a video call to the person he swapped the house with for a few months and tells him as to what is happening and this fellow acts nasty and arrogant which of course works in well for the horror plot as if he knew what went on there. The tensions between the two of them looked powerful.
More intensity happens when Ginny leaves the home. Then when night hits Matt hears the keyboard playing at night and he runs to the room thinking that she came back which is a chilling feeling that it isn't her and something deadly could happen.
More exciting mysterious moments happens when Matt finds a door leading to a small cellar and what he spots there in which there's intense camera shots on him focusing as to what is in there.
Then both Matt and Ginny gets a call saying they caught the stalker but yet we all know that it's just too easy for that to happens as we watch later on to see what happens. This definitely begs for a sequel.
Bottom line is that it is a bit of a cheesy found footage horror flick by how it was shot and the quality of it all. However, it had a strong scary plot making this one totally enjoyable. It's very dark and mysterious. Almost like a found footage version of The Strangers. If you enjoy creepy mysterious found footage flicks then this one is for you.

The acting at first looks rough and not natural enough for a found footage flick but yet gets into shape when the story starts rolling along.
Nathan Nolan (Matt Powsey) seemed to offer a bit of charm into his character in which he gets into it when he films himself and telling the camera as to what he plans to do/ This looked not too shabbily done. He also knew on how to act alarmed in situations. Does well when losing his mind and freaking out about stuff along with showing off great frustrations and aggressions too.
Evie Brodie (Ginny Baker) offered a happy go lucky type and showing off a great happiness into all she did here. Also shows off a good versatality wjhen she gets scared or upset on stuff. Showed off a perfect scared and emotional attitude as well as being believable when losing it by being that scared. Yes folks she really got it together.
Simon Dutton (Jack Wilson) only had a couple scene's as someone on the other end of a video chat in the other house he swapped for a few weeks. Yet he is worth mentioning. He does well acting like a two faced closed minded prick. Shows off a great obnoxious closed minded attitude. He of course made this all believable and a good motive within all that he did here.

Jenny Chartres composed this piece which was interesting for a found footage flick in which there wasn't much music in the story to compose but you do hear the odd synthesizer sounds as it's spooky to hear for the odd creepy moments as it blends in well. The closing credits has music though which has a creepy humming sound leading to high pitched noise for the very end. This worked in greatly.
