Two years after a couple people were murdered and a suicide of the lover on one of them, a new person Eli (Shasha Sacket) moves in to the home who takes on a job as a photographer for Emily Hamilton (Judith O'Dea) in which she takes a liking to him reminding her of his dead son that she disowned due to revealing that he was gay. Due to this she has alot of regrets. She also sees hallucinations of her son on Eli as she almost snaps.
Yet some creepy and mysterious situations occur as a revenge is planned for him and his friends.
He has a deep dark secret of his own which endangers others around him.

This sequel starts right off the bat with Jake being tormented by his nightmares as well as feeling depressed after the death of his lover. THis involved flashbacks on what happened at the end of the original flick. Plus it shows a suicide involving him. Certainly draws into a mysterious feel here and a good beginning to the story.

A new resident Eli moves into the home which looked effective as to find out as to what happened there along with his friend Maggie showing him the place and being charming. All of this looked convincingly natural.

Many more flashback sequences that involves out heroine Nancy as she spots herself at a memorial of her friend. THis had a black and white feel to this as well as a good shot on a white flower with a blood drop on it.
This later on is seen in the story which leaves an affect on her. Very well drawn into the story I must say.

The closed minded religious mother Emily Hamilton is also experiencing nightmares as to how she treated her son Elliot after reavealing he was gay which was well brought out.
She also spots a razor making out she was going to take her life as I wondered if this was a dream too. A real teaser here.
Not only that even hallucinates her dead son as this was a real eye catcher during many spots of the story too.

Eli goes to a job interview for Emily's job as she looks at his portfolio to see what kinds of experience he has. His portfolio shows guys together. She questions him on all this. He then confesses he's gay as I was like "Uh oh!" She bluntly tells him her career is for straight Christians. It left a tension in the story as to whether or not she will hire him or be wicked towards him. A strongly done in scene that I spotted here and well dramatic.

Then at home Eli has a discussion with Maggie on a night out at the gay bar. He explains to her he isn't into that type of scene which of course involves cliques etc. Certainly a nice moment in the story. They also get witty on the topic too which was a nice add into this scene too.

Eli's what seems to be his father George comes for a visit in which he makes him feel not so good within what he is saying to him and so fourth. Left a good deep feeling on a dysfunctional parent to his son. This seemed rather strange as this guy sounded rather gay. Yet when you watch the rest of the flick the missing pieces come together.

Eli goes out for a bike ride in which someone is driving by and throws something at him. For sure leaves a clue that these people doing this were homophobes leaving a creepy impression that he could be in danger.

Nancy tries to have a romance with George but yet it looked a little weak at first but it seemed to comes in okay to the story later on. He seems to be reluctant to falling for her. Certainly leaves clues that he may possibly be gay.
Also she tries to question him about it. He gets into a rage as this looked intense. For sure looked a bit disturbing wondering if he will get violent with her. A good touch to this flick indeed.

Eli seems to strike well with Emily showing off some heartwarming situations as she reminds him of her son. A good happiness to their discussions in separate parts of the story while watching things unfold.
Yet she hallucinates as well as calling him her son made me wonder if she will go crazy and the horror coming into the picture. Certainly left me in suspense while watching all of this.

Eli spots a poor little girl upset as others took her ball in which he resolves this issues reasonably towards the others. I found this to be greatly written in and an anti-bullying message to the story. Drew in well to feel sorry for this child.

The horror really starts to kick into the story in which Nancy spots a dug up coffin from a graveyard. Then when she walks to it something from the dead grabs her arm which looked totally spooky to watch. I was wondering if this was a zombie flick other than a psychological one. Some good shots on her running away in the night freaking out. Certainly boggled me as it became an unsolved mystery.

Eli and Nancy have another nice heartwarming stroll near a park and his mother Hillary approaches them and getting demanding. This for sure looked truly dysfunctional and breaking the happiness. Made me feel sorry for these two.
There's even an emotional breakdown with her when he tells her he is leaving town. For sure left a total emotional moment between the two of them which looked powerful to watch it almost made me want to cry.

Nancy spots a corpse in her place which offered total creepiness to the scene as well as her calling the police but find nothing. Made me wonder if she was losing her mind or not. Yes folks, the horror is piling up big time!!!!!

During these situations we get to see the exfiancee from the first flick whom is Marti White being tormented in her nightmares on Elliot as well. First making things look mysterious as well as getting into her face looking hellish and ghoulish. Definitely a nice start to the horror that will unravel later on.

Then the terror happens big time when everyone gets together at a bar when Eli is talking to her mother with her apologising and so fourth.
Plus some twisted moments on George of whom he is not what he seems to be.
I was confused at first but then it was explained later on. Lots of chills that happen here.
Suddenly the terror strikes but it looked a bit over the top at first.

The revealed maniac in the story happens with everyone in a basement. Nancy is tied and gagged as well as spotting a few corpses in a room. You horror fans will love these moments.
Struggling moments happen big time with Eli and the maniac as well as Emily trying to stop the madness. Alot of dark secrets are revealed which explains alot. This was well done for what we spot here along with some devastating moments too. Very powerful moments for a near ending of the story.

Bottom line is that it was a well done sequel. Not as good as the original but still a good one. Some of the characters from the original show a change of heart about the gay community which is nice to see. Confusing at first like mentioned but the missing puzzles come together nicely. Tried to offer horror intensity near the end like in the original. Yet not as effective. Still it worked in nicely at the same time too.

The acting is well performed for the most part like in the previous one. Sacha Sacket (Eli) seemed to bring put quite a bit in his part in which he showed off a good nervous and shy type of attitude in the scene's that he needed to be this way. Also shows off great energy with his emotional anger and sad attitude too. Yes he brought out some great characteristics. His career is mainly a composer for films but he can do well as an actor like he did in this one.

Judith O' Dea (Emily Hamilton) brings out a different attitude in this one than in the original. Does it with terrific style. Shows off some sad and upsetting emotions in which I felt sorry for her. She did it that well. Was well energised when she gets upset about stuff or is obsessed with something. For sure was a ball of energy and the best in the cast.

Brinke Stevens (Nancy) seemed average with her firm behavior which stood out okay. When she tries to get into a romantci moment it doesn't just cut it. However when she stresses a question or a situation she seemed to be on the ball of things. Yet there's a moment when she freaks out and runs away which was very amateurishly performed.

Lloyd Pedersen (George) for sure came across convincing as a demanding type of bully. A true force of nature when he is frusterated or coming across as being obnoxious or nearly violent. Also brought it out big time near the end of his performance while getting crazy. At times his energy is a bit low but not too low.

Darcey Vanderhoef (Maggie) had a ton of spunk and bubbliness within whatever she does. For sure was believably likeable and outgoing. For sure showed off as a happy go lucky type and offering a terrific friendly personality. Offered the heathly good girl looks and appeal too.

Robyn Griggs (Brielle) however was a little too over the top and acts a little too silly. She couldn't seem to get into her characteristics although she did try to as you could tell here. Was very hyper to what she did and couldn't get into a calm mode when the moments was for her to do so.

Debbie Rochon (Hillary) however was terrific playing a basket case in which she shows off a great aggression and bittnerness into her part. For sure was believable as someone dysfunctional. Reacts well to stuff and making her emotions come to life.

A woman slits her wrists in a dream sequence was a razor
Head is whacked a couple times with bloody holes revealing

Sacha Sacket and Jamey Sewell composed the music for this flick. It sounded very mild and weak during the first bit with a light synthesizer for classical sounds as it didn't seem to do the trick. Later on sounded more powerful along with some chiming music and so fourth. Also some odd singing harmony which was nicely lit into the story. Odd hissing and screechy sounds are used in certain parts which also sounded mildly effective for the going on's.

Sacket also sings the song during the closing credits "Sweet Suicide" during the closing credits in which he has a soft soothing voice was was perfect for the films ending.

Nancy: Why don't you show some humanity while entering the front door!?
