A group of young colonists on the planet Saturn goes to a derelict space station only to realise that it has been devoured by alien creatures in which they have a hard time escaping these deadly beings.

A great beginning in the story in which it showed outerspace with all the stars as well as showing a space probe as well as some sort of a pod entering this probe. Things are very silent which of course works in well and mysterious with the going on's.
After the opening credits, in which the opening was similar to the first one which showed some nice class, We see a group of young adults on a planet lead by Raine and her android adopted brother Andy on a mission. This android is tormented in a scene by 10 year old juvenle delinquents as this adds a touch to the story wondering if he will be okay or will short circuit.
While they're ready to take off Rain's sister Kay discusses that she's pregnant as this is a drawing card until we find out as to what happens quarter way in the story. Was nicely put in for a horror tale.
Good special effects when their ship arrives the probe as well as the going ons from inside this object.
During these situations Andy is being a little bullied by Bjorn as he gets in his face as there's a teaser while watching the outcome of this wondering if this android will get violent towards him.
All of them discover a hole on the walkway which is a great chilling touch that those alien monsters are around there somewhere. They also spot a damaged android which is seemingly dead but there's a moment that I jumped out of my seat. A great touch to a sci fi horror story.
Great camera shots on some corpses in the ship which made me once again jumped out of my seat while Rain and the gang continues to explore the area. This for sure will give anyone the chills that something creepy is lurking in this probe.
Then the terror happens big time when the creatures known as the facehuggers in which they are on the run from while trying to close each panel to see if they will be safe from getting away from all of them. This looked terrifying to watch. In fact they looked like giant killing spiders.
The terror strikes more when Bjorn sees some sort of a pod and tries to electrocute it as I wondered as to what was lurking in this object. Very suspenseful indeed since there's some terrifying results afterwards.
Kay is pitted against one of the alien monsters as a door is kept shut while Rain and Tyler are on the other side of it which made me watch in terror if they will open it or not since this creature is waiting to plan and attack them all if the door opens. Definentely a pressuring moment big time here.
The survivors go to the aid of the damaged android named Rook as he explains the reasons for these creatures and I must tell you it's by the same kind of android that we remember from the first flick which was a real attention grabber and says some of the similar lines too.
Rain disables the ship's gravity while trying to shoot away the creatures in which as we all know bleeds acid and she tries to dodge the blood but this looks totally terrifying since she is so close to this deadly liquid and made me wonder if she will survive this madness along with Kay as she rescued her from a cocoon that these creatures made in the probe. This was an extra good touch to the story since we've seen this in the previous films.
When the survivors thinks that they're safe, Kay goes into labour and gives birth to some sort of a humanoid called the Offspring in which this creepy object wrecks havoc and the other trying to battle away with this giant being. This looked truly fucked up. A fair touch for a sci fi/horror such as this one.
Bottom line is that this is almost a retelling of the first few Alien flicks and done in a decent fashion. It wasn't the greatest flick like the first two but it comes off nicely. Great special effects and some nice shocks. Nice one for diehard fans for sure. Yet there's no queen alien creature which was a bummer as I loved it in Aliens.

The acting is is quite good in which Cailee Spaeny (Rain) seemed to know on how to play a commander with her serious attitude. Does well by acting serious and courageous when the terror strikes. Also shows a ton of fearful energy whenever it was necessary for her to be like this.
David Jonsson (Andy) offered alot of outgoing type of personality as an android. Plus was a strong force along with coming across as believeably intelligent as on what to do in certain scene's. He for sure studied this role quite nicely and looked solidly powerful while being this way.
Archie Renaux (Tyler) was another one who stood out well in which he shows a great intelligence as well as being serious too. He really knew on how to react to situations. Had the right looks and appeal onto the camera whenever he was involved in a scenerio.
Isabela Merced (Kay) brought out a fearful and intense attitude. Especially when she is pitted against one of the creatures bringing it out greatly. Shows a nice versatality when getting into a decent conversation about being pregnant. Also shows off an intense behavior when going into labour as well as her reactions to find out on who she gave borth to. Yes she does this all with style.
Spike Fearn
(Bjorn) was a real force of energy and stood out the most in the cast with his supporting role. He knew on how to act like an arrogant bully by getting in someone's face that yuo'd just feel like hitting him. Plus was great when he tries to go in for the kill or acting emotionally scared as he does well at both with his hyped up energy.

Battered corpses are revealed
Eye is stabbed by the creatures tail
Person's chest is burst open when a baby creature comes out
Acid is splashed on a persons body

The composing was marvellously done by Benjamin Wallfisch in which he borrowed some formula from the beginning of the very first flick to use in the beginning of the story for this one without ripping off the composer for that one and making it sound just right. Alot of sharp violin composing making it sound incredibly powerful for the action packed situations. Plus some banging sounds for the chasing scene's which always works well for a scene like this one. He shows versatile moments having smooth sounds as well as some vocal harmonies which also worked great.

Rain: Can you tell us what we can do to help her?
Rook: You don't help her, you run. Get out, however you got in!
Bjorn
: No, no, no, no, wait, whoa. Nah, we're not fucking leaving her, okay? You understand?
Rook
: Then have mercy and end her life now. If not, you all die!

Rook: I can't lie to you about your chances. But you have my sympathies.

Andy: Get away from her... you bitch.
