Helens Valley has banned Halloween in their town since that last terrifying incidents. But now it's lifted as two sorority pledges are sent to work at a funhouse for Halloween where the barn used to be when all hell broke loose.
Yet the evil forces are awakened and turn others into zombies once more.

A scout campfire takes place during the beginning of the film with a ghost story being told on what happened from the previous film which included flashbacks as this looked interesting to watch. At the same time didn't seem natural enough and planned out. Of course these 3 beings from the previous flick starts slaughtering everyone in which was supposed to look terrorising. Yet it also looked too planned out.
A year passes and the story takes place at a sorority in which one of the main sisters tells a couple of the pledges to go to where the barn used to be and so fourth. All of this looked incredibly dull to watch and wondered if I was in for a real bad movie. Things do pick up.
Since this flick took place in the early 90s it was cool to see a video rental store with two of the sorority pledges Michelle and Heather going there and so fourth with a dorky employee Charlie having a discussion with them. There's many horror films displayed for rental in which us fanatics all remember. Ahhh those were the days indeed.
The fun really begins with a reprising character Sarah Barnhart greeting trick or treaters at her house which looks like the Myers home from Halloween. Yet something terrifying happens as these aren't your everyday trick or treaters. I was thinking to myself wtf??? But it explains itself afterwards which I won't give away. There's good graphic close up shots on what happens in this scene.
Sam Daniels brings Michelle and Heather to his place in which his grandfather tells these two girls a horror story on what happened to the place they are staying for Hallows Eve. It looked nicely drawn in and well concentrated too. Showing a good dark feel towards what he was talking about with some flashbacks making it look more entertaining.
The two girls starts working on the funhouses that are happening for the event with good close up and concentrated shots.
The fun happens at night making you want to join in on the fun on what the employees do as some of them are dressed as zombies. Before you know it the three evil beings attacks these people making them into actual zombies. This looked gruesome and intense for a low budgeter with what they all had here.
With the going on's and the fun times that everyone is having it looked very natural as well as mysteriously creepy with these evil forces changing others. Left a chill down my spine by wondering if some of these employees have become zombies and aren't safe to be around at all. Plus some great intense close up shots on the zombies attacking their victims.
Certain moments with some of the employees showing off a lustful attitude towards the customers at the funhouse was a drag and too planned out. Yet during a situation with one of the women rise in the air acting monstrous looked cheesily well done and fun to watch.
To add more horror entertainment some of the survivors escape from the living dead with neat fog effects and stuff like that.
The battle begins when Michelle, Heather and Sam arrive at a local church in which the people there starts snuffin them out. I had to admit these showed off alot of adreanline and so fourth. Some of the weapons even included a chainsaw.
Then the final moments occur as this was more trashy fun when these 3 evil beings combine into one to make themselves more powerful. Plenty of good action while watching the outcome here. Also the people battling this thing was powerfully intense to watch.
Bottom line is that this was a disappointing sequel but so bad it's good type of fashion. Can be campy fun to watch as a party flick. The chemistry wasn't as same like in the original. It certainly paid a tribute to many cult classic horror flicks while watching through this. A plan for another sequel is in the works which I will give it a shot as well.

The acting is quite fair in which Lexi Dripps (Michelle) really added a ton of spunk and enthusiasm into all that she did here. Shows off a ton of emotions as well as great intensive energy whole going into battle. Seemed to show her stuff pretty good and knew on how to portray a character in this piece.
Sable Griedel (Heather) had the right looks and appeal for this role and can come off nicely with her outgoing and charming attitude. She really showed some nice fear when the terror starts as well as getting into all that she did here. Comes off well onto the camera with her appeal.
Mitchell Musolino (Sam Daniels) seemed to do an okay job as someone whom is also outgoing along as someone whom seems to be smart on stuff. He brought it out nicely on what to do next when the terrors occur. He concentrated very well within all that he did. A worthy character actor.
Chad Bruns (Charlie) was a bit over the top within all he did in his part as someone physically disabled. Seemed to come across as dweeby like which made me wonder or not if that was the inention. Seemed a little too goofy. He just didn't do much for me.
Daniel Alan Kiely (Sheriff Cooper) stood out greatly as an easy going type of lawman. Acted charming and friendly which was also believable. I found that he had the most effective supporting role. Looked right for the part which was a plus.
Linnea Quigley (Sarah Barnhart) was pretty good as one of the employees at her local church. Showed off a nice concentration on what she was talking about. Also offered some wit while going into action. Yet there's moments that she uses a chainsaw but doesn't seem convincingly menacing when she attacks with this object. Oh well.
Ari Lehman (Dr. Rock) was probably the best in the cast as he brought out a great strong personality as a musician at his church. Was a natural ham as well within to what he was talking about. Definetly was a strong presence in his role.
Troma Team president Lloyd Kaufman (Town Mayor) is often too over the top and hyper within all that I've seen him in. Yet, he seems to pull this one off in a fair fashion. Not the greatest performers by any means but tried his best to show off a reasonable attitude which was different for him.
Doug Bradley (Walter Daniels) I must say did a great job in his part while telling a ghost story. Seemed to add alot of charisma and charm into his part. He was also pretty witty within all that he did here. Came across as someone whom is believably likeable.

A couple of women take off their top in a funhouse and showing it off.
Kinky women in leather at the other part of the funhouse shows it off too.

Like the first one alot of gore.
Eyeballs pop out of a guys face after being burned.
Many zombies are eating people alive..
Faces are sliced off..
Decapitations.
Guts revealed.
Bloody stabbings.
Scalps are ripped off with the brains revealed.

Like the first flick composer Rocky Gray does a marvellous job with this piece. He especially has a creepy and ghostly synthesizer playing during the opening credits. It kind of reminded me the opening to Return of the Living Dead. Nice hissing and airy sounds for when the deadly moments are about to occur. Plus some icy synthesizer add ons in other spots of the film which seemed decently done too. He also offers good low budget deep stomping adventereous music during alot of the attacking moments.
More balls to the wall type of metal sountrack but one that stood out in my mind was the first one playing during the closing credits "Into the Night" by Frighter V. They remind me of those 80's hair metal bands and was a great choice. I don't like alot of todays music but they made it sound believably retro.

Sarah Barnhart: Forgive me father for I'm about to sin!!!!
