While on Christmas Eve the stores close for the night in which an owner of a music store Tori Toons (Riley Dandy) wants to party at a pub as well as hooking up with her employee Robbie Reynolds (Sam Delich) in which things are going well. Until a robotic Santa (Abraham Benrubi) at a store starts to malfunction and come to life killing residents nearby and is on Tori's tail in which she must survive the madness by fighting back.

So it goes like this. The beginning shows a bunch of cheesy and corny Christmas advertisments which left me a feeling that this flick will suck big time and I was right. THen they show a breaking news about a robotic Santa malfunctioning in which this is supposed to be impressive to a start of a slasher flick but it didn't impress me.
Then the story begins with a record store with last minute customers buying stuff for the last minute on Christmas Eve before the store closes as there's good neon surroundings of the shop which looked nice while watching this.
After it closes then there's discussions between store owner Tori Tooms and employee Robbie Reynolds shooting the shit about going to a nearby store that their friends work at to party in which there's excessive profanity which was annoying as hell. Plus this scene lagged on as my guess it was to fill the time. This moment was rather pointless and uninspired.
Then the two of them goes to a bar in the town which is snows as you can tell it's fake and used by a machine. Then all of them enter a bar there's more excessive profanity as I felt like watching The Osbournes. Yet that show had way more class.
The two of them talk to their friends at the place whom happens to be a couple Jay and Lahna as it drags even more with a long and pointless interactions towards one another. I was thinking to myself as to when the horror will come into the story as it was driving me nuts!!!!!
Yet we get a peek later on with the robotic Santa moving his head and eyes in which leaves an impression that the slayings will occur very soon as I was thinking it's about time and of course Jay and Lahna decides to have pre marital sex in which this of course is a drawing card to become victims to a killer in a slasher film. This didn't impress me as there are lame camera shots on Santa's axe swinging back and forth making out that he's in for the kill but it doesn't look convincing and a bit amateurish too.
Tori takes Robbie to her home where they're about to have sex which looked lame and uninspired as if they were forced into doing this meanwhile nearby the Santa takes an axe to a neighbors door to break in while these two are trying to get it on. Alot of slasher films have this scenario but it doesn't work well on this flick whatsoever. Plus the scene took way too long which is another time waster.
When the killing sprees happen, the two of them try to help the neighbors out and this was supposed to look intense but it seemed a little too planned out. Yet some good shots on some murderous scene's yet there's a situation as well as to what Santa does to a vicitim with his head as you could tell looked fake.
During these situations there's a little boy looking for his parents and spots Santa as he talks to him in which all of this was forced in other words amateurishly done. Yet what grabbed my attention is when Santa approaches him as it made me watch carefully wondering if he will kill this poor innocent child.
Tori is framed for the murders and there's a somewhat decent situation with a good cop bad cop towards her as it almost looked effectively done. This is one of the better moments in this story but nothing to brag about either.
Suddenly the terror strikes at the police headquarters with Santa going in for the kill and Tori trying to put an end to this mechanical maniac as I must admit that this is the best moment of them all as there's lasers shooting out of this killers eyes as well as explosives along with other moments that seems to pay a heavy tribute the Terminator franchise. The special effects for this I must admit looked impressive for a low budgeter.
Bottom line is that this was a lame flick with extreme profanity with fuck this and fuck that. It was a bit much and the writer must have a potty mouth himself or doesn't know on how to make a story effective at all which it shows here. He has Tarrantino beat with the foul language. They tried to make this a traditional Christmas slasher flick but this was a serious waste of time. I'm surprised that this clunker played in selected theatre's. Let's hope a sequel won't arise.

The acting is quite bad for the most part. However lead actress Riley Dandy (Tori Tooms) seemed to pull her weight in a decent fashion in which she really pumps up her role with her aggressive attitude cursing like a sailor. She also does well going into action when the terror strikes her especially by using a shotgun. She was certainly a powerful nature and deserves fair credit within her performance.
Sam Delich
(Robbie Reynolds) seemed to breeze through okay as well in which he seemed to have a somehat mild charm and outgoing attitude but I do mean mild. Seemed to do okay upping his energy when the terror strikes by getting excited. He was alright and better than most of the cast that was mentioned here.
Abraham Benrubi (Santa) didn't have any line in this one but I thought he was worth mentioning in which he was a powerful force of nature when he goes in for the kill and seemed to come across not too shabby terrorising others or destroying certain things. Certainly comes across well onto the camera whenever he did all of this.
Jeff Daniel Phillips (Sheriff Malone) pulls it off as an easy going lawman in which he shows off a nice charming personality offering a nice calmness when talking to others. He made his role convincingly likeable as he was one of the better performers. His role wasn't huge but was memorable to anyone who saw this flop.
Jeremy Gardner
(Officer Smith) wasn't too bad in his role as he shows a nice forceful behavior as well as coming across aggressive whenever he needed to be this way. Yes I can tell he studied this part pretty good. Had the right masculine looks and appeal which was a nice touch as well for the role he was portraying.

Axe is stabbed in the back.
Axe splits someone's head open.
Head is crushed but looks very fake.
Fingers are chopped off.

Steve Moore does a great job with his score for this flick which is the only good thing about this turkey. Has low hissing sounds and stuff like that for when the robotic Santa is about to come to life for the kill. Plus has some low budget retro symthesizer and keyboard playing for the real action and suspense throughout certain scene's of the plot in which it sounds very 80's cheese retro. Plus there's buzzing sounds whenever the Santa robot killer is about to kill his next victim. That's what I like in a horror flick so I give this guy two thumbs up!
