George Adams (Bryan Irzyk) keeps having nightmares about his past as well as keeping a secret with his affairs. When his wife leaves on a business trip a mysterious killer enters his home and does away anyone that enters the home.

When I saw the opening credits and a video quality I had a bad feeling on this one. While the credits are happening there's clips on a troubled child drawing pictures with his own blood as well as his abusive parent James Burns getting nasty and slapping him around. This was supposed to look intense but by how things looked misses by a longshot.

The story afterwards focuses on a married couple after the abusive incident we watch on the husband George Adams waking up from a nightmare. This was supposed to leave a clue on him being the possible abusive child back in the days. Still watching this seemed very confusing.
Then he makes love to his wife with her blouse on which looked awfully stupid and unnatural. Seemed like this was forced. A total time waster. I knew for sure I was in for a really bad one here.

When they're up and his wife is about to go on a business trip he discusses on them having a family. None of this looked natural either and was incredibly stiff in which the makers really needed to make it more convincing but they didn't which is really sad.

When George is by himself he cautiously checks something that he hears in which this was supposed to bring the chills on something scary that may happen here. However, this was done way too amateurishly to be suspenseful. Of course it's a false alarm like in most horror flicks during the very beginning of the story. THis was terribly trashy to watch.
When this mysterious moment unravels we find out that this so called faithful husband was having an affair and told his mistress that they're through. None of this was enjoyable to watch and incredibly pointless as might I also mention annying with their interactions towards one another.

George encounters a nosey married couple that lives next door. Watching them do what they do really got on my nerves and was way too over the top. Supposed to bring dry humor to the story but I wasn't laughing one bit.
I couldn't wait to finish watching this flick as it was agonising with stuff like this. I was hoping the killer will do these couple in soon.

Two bumbling detectives are about to go on a mission commanded by Chief O'Reilly in which this was done in a fair fashion. Not great but better than what I saw so far. The topic is about a serial killer escaping from the asylum and on the losse. Seemed necessary to have in a slasher flick.

The mysterious killer approaches George's home and lets himself in. Of course the camera takes on this maniac's actions were sloppily done by the movements and everything else.
The repairman that goes to the home to fix the washer and dryer arrives in which he asks this mysterious killer where to go. This looked terribly amateurish to keep me in suspense.
Then one of the first killing begins but it was extremely stupid as to what happens to this person which involves the door of a dryer. Not a deadly device at all I'm afraid even if in the story made it out that it was.

Then another sex scene between some sort of a whore Tracy getting it on with a junkie Paul. Alot of focused moments on this. Yet didn't look convincing at all as if they were forced to perform like this. Another time waster as if watching a really bad soft core porn flick.

The best scene occurs when Detective Watts goes to talk to the obnoxious abusive family man James about his history due to a killer on the loose. Boy do things look intense and intimidating with what happens here.
A flashback scene occurs while James discusses a situation which shows a nasty employer firing someone at a construction site. THis person seeks revenge using one of the vehicles to kill this employer. It was cheesy to watch this but better than the other situations in this story.

Tracy and Paul go searching George's home as I admit things are still when they go searching for him. It was amateurishly creepy like with a nice dark moment. A bit of an improvement. Leaves a sinking feeling that the killer will do them in next.

Near the end of the story George is pitted against the killer as he is nearly tortured to death. This I admit looked a little brutal when he is being dragged and so fourth.
There's also shots on corpses in his basement which slasher fans may take a nod to even if it looked amateurish. But better than what we saw before.
When the story unfolds in the end I must say it didn't explian itself too well and I felt very confused while spotting this before the closing credits.

Bottom line is that the best thing about this flick is seeing the closing credits. It was a bore and lame to watch. Looks like a bad budget for a porn flick. Lacking isn't the word for this at all. Seemed that a bunch of friends got together that are inexperienced and agreed to make a nearly plotless unscary story. Good thing a sequel didn't arise. Of course Brain Damage Films are always bad. Avoid this one if possible.

The acting is absolutely terrible as most of the cast needs a new career big time. They couldn't pull their weight at all whatsoever!

Bryan Irzyk (George Adams) plays the lead in which he was incredibly wooden with his speaking and tries to get into character but fails big time. He shows no emotions or energy especially when he gets anxious. Doesn't even have the right looks for this role. So sad.

Mianda Watts (Tracy) playing the loose woman seemed a bit better though. She shows a no nonsense attitude pretty well as well as coming across defensive as if not to mess with her. Yes she brought a bit of this to life. However when she gets scared or screams she is a bit off.

Josh Sykora (Paul) was stale in his role. He was basically just saying his lines. His looks seemed okay. But however portraying a junkie he was not conviincing. Couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag and was lacking when supposed to being uptight in some spots. He couldn't do it at all.

Scot Bouillon (Bob Kolevich) was annoying as hell as the nosey neighbor. He tries to be funny but I forgot to laugh that's how terrible his timing is within his performance. He was another over the top one plus couldn't freak out too well when the terror strikes him.

Brent Douglas (Detective Watts) was one of the btter performers in which he seemed to study this role fairly well. Had a convincing seriousness when discussing things to others. He showed a non expression type of behavior which suited this role. Does well acting calm and getting to the point.

Robert Z'Dar (James Burns) however was the best out of the cast. Of course he was a well experienced actor and a cult icon. Knew on how to behave obnoxious and intimidating whin what he did here. Does well with his arrogant and demanding attiude coming across that he will be violent if you cross him. A true force of nature.

Joe Estevez (Chief O'Rielly) was the second best performer. He was convincing while commanding a situation on a losse killer and what to do. Plus offers a good charming type of personality and showing a nice sense of humor during the end of his performance.

A woman is barebreasted sitting on a bed drinking wine.
A whore is barebreasted fornicating.
The guy she fornicates with runs to the john butt exposed.

Sharp object is stabbed in a woman's head.
A few decapitations but the heads looked terribly phony.
A wire from a hanger is stabbed in someone's head.

Joe Kostal does the music for this as there's sliding and airy sounds used on a synthesizer. It does sound effective at times but used too much in the story and becomes terribly annoying. However some nice echoey xylophone sounds during a flashback scene. Nothing more was used in the story so I can't say much for anything else here.
