A failing college student Stefani Reyes (Kaitlan Santa Juana) keeps having nightmares of a woman experiencing a high rise tower about to collapse and tries to find this unsolved mystery only to realise that her own family and friends are in danger to this death in which they're the prime targets.

The beginning of the story looked rather confusing since it is set in the 1960's in which I wondered to myself if this is a true sequel or not. However, it focuses on an engaged couple Iris and Paul going to a high rise restaurant tower and beforehand the film spots a spoiled brat taking pennies out of a wishing fountain as well as them going up on the elevator with this child jumping up and down in which this leaves a clue that something terrifying might happen.
Other situations happens at the rise when they go up to the top and looking down along with a woman losing her hat as well as the brat tossing pennies from the top. With the great camera shots surrounding this moment has me scared shitless since I fear heights big time. Plus with all that is happening here leaves a clue that a deadly accident is about to happen.
Then the real terror starts to happen which I won't give away but boy does it work in greatly with what goes on along with gruesome results. The CGI effects needed a bit of improvement but it still works in well with a terrifying incident.
The story takes place present day with a college student
Stefani Reyes awakening from this nightmare as this makes matters more confusing but keep watching the film as it will unfold this unsolved mystery.
When Stefani tries to find out about her nightmares, her Uncle Howard tells her about his mother and how she became estranged from them all. By how this was set out it looked convincingly dysfunctional. While anyone who watches this outcome will learn about the outcome on what happened while watching the beginning of this flick.
Stafano goes on a search for her estranged grandmother Iris in which the situations were spooky as well as Iris telling her to be cautious along with her reacting quickly to a deadly accident that almost ocurred. She explains to Stafano on communicating with death and as to how she cheated her deadly incident. I really enjoyed this moment and the outcome of this.
During a nice hot day Uncle Howard has a barbeque family day as things looked fun to watch along with close up shots on objects that can cause a deadly accident and boy do things change around big time in which these accidents looked cleverly well done.
Erik owns a tattoo parlour listening to metal music after closing time with good close up shots on objects jiggling which could cause an accident as it made me think that he will be next. But keep watching as you're in for a surprise.
Stefani walks along with Erik and trying to warn him in which a garbage truck appears as well as residents doing certain things which is a drawing cards to more deadly accidents in which she tries to warn him to dodge these situations as this was strongly drawn into the story.
Someone does get thrown into a garbage truck and it's hilarious as to how this was all done. Erik and Stefani tries to race towards this vehicle with this victim inside which looked truly intinidating and another carefully watched scene wondering if these two are too late saving this person.
The gang of survivors whom are a trap for death travels to places like a hospital to look for our friend
William John Bludworth to get some answers. It's really interesting as to how he is in touch within what started out of these killings and his involvement on cheating death. Definetely brings the story together in the history of the situations.
More of the terror happens when you least expect it or when you think it's about to happen and doesn't do so just yet. Like in a hospital room when a machine is accidently activated. Then deadly moments break out big time which was fast paced and terrorising.
The survivors goes to the property of Iris and discusses as to who will stay at the house for the rest of their lives in order to keep the rest safe from death in which these situations looked dark as well as more shocking moments happen here as the suspense really piles up big time.
Get ready for the end of the film as things aren't what they seem and totally deja vu as well as a train derailing in a real dangerous way. You will see what I mean and it looked great and out of the ordinary.
Bottom line is that this was a well done flick. The special effects looked a little bit computerised but it was still enjoyable to watch these moments happen. Seemed to pay a tribute to the first two flicks within what happens on the deadly accidents. A nice explanation as to why this is all happening too. Plus some killings almost borrowed from the cult flick Sleepaway Camp 3: Teenage Wasteland. It made me wonder if the makers saw that non mainstream flick and got a couple of ideas to make the moments one of their own.

The acting is still well performed in which Kaitlyn Santa Juana (Stefani Reyes) seemed to pull her weight quite well. Reacts greatly to situations. Shows great with her energised attitude as well as being believeable when trying to save someone or warn them for that matter as this looked beliveable. Yes she shows good characteristics to her role along with being emotional here and there as this shines off nicely as well.
Teo Briones
(Charlie Reyes) as the younger brother is fairly a natural as a typical teenage kid and seemed to come across well with his sarcastic behavior. Does a nice job with his role and shows off some okay energy throughout his performance.
Rya Kihlstedt (Darlene Campbell) as the mother shows off a warm and caring kind. Offers a good sympathetic attitude as well as knowing on how to act calm in a situation. She was sharp in her performance and is right on the ball. Had the perfect healthy looks and appeal which is a plus for her role.
Richard Harmon (Erik) stood out the most and most remembered to anyone who saw this flick. Was great portraying a grease monkey tattoo artist with his cocky and sarcastic personality. shows off as someone whom is a bit of a moron along with his tough speaking too. One of those types that lacks intelligence in which this person really shows it off greatly.
Owen Patrick Joyner (Bobby) had the right jock boy looks and build. He for sure added some decent spunk to his role as well as bringing it to a hype when he's alarmed on a situation. He was a ball of adrenaline and enthusiasm.
April Telek (Aunt Brenda) was another one with the healthy looks and attitude along with doing well crying in fear on what's going on. She for sure was believeable with her upsetting emotions. Studied this role pretty well.
Alex Zahara (Uncle Howard) brought on the perfect sharp wit to the part he was portraying as a loveable family man. He made his part believably likeable. Really got into his seriousness when he explains a family dysfunctional sitation as to what had happened. His part wasn't huge but made his performance worth while nonetheless.
Tony Todd (William John Bludworth) is still great with his part in which he doesn't seem dark on what he talks about and is a little more mellow as well as more open to discuss situations on what is happening. He really got into it and this was his last flick before he died. Bless his soul.
Brec Bassinger
(Iris (1960s) definetely showed off a nice innocent attitude as well as doing great with her timid behavior. She brings out a great fearsome reactions when the terrors happen as well as bringing it out terrifically while warning others which was brought to life big time.
Gabrielle Rose
(Iris (Present Day) potrayed a perfect basket case as well as getting crue at first which was beliveable. Also does a perfect and beliveable job by being cautious and alert. Got into her role powerfully when she explains as to what is going on and so fourth. She really got into this greatly.

Bodies are bloodily splattered
Torn off arm
Head splattered by a lawnmower
Faces and other objects are torn apart by objects throughout many situations
Bloody impalments
Tons of bloodsheds
Anyone who's a fan of horror violence will love this as it's packed with a ton of what was mentioned

Tim Wynn brings it all together especially during the opening with deep bass violin playing. IN other parts he certainly drew the terror and aggression during the moments. Plus alot of adventureous classical music that was played for the adventureous situations too. Yes he was a powerful force of nature within all that he had to do and definetely did his homework with scene by scene as to what it should sound like.

The soundtrack is performed by many oldies and stands out well:

There's the golden classic "Shout" performed by by Natasha Burnett and Garfield Wilson as they perform the song on the dance floor of the high rise tower in which there's a ton of intense energy which was strong with this song to create a deadly accident.

When the surviving gang goes out on a mission the classic 70's tune "Spirit in the Sky performed by Norman Greenbaum is playing which is a great touch and adds to what is happening.

More tunes play in this flick but these are a couple of one's that really stands out in my mind. If you like oldies like me you may enjoy this selection as well.
