In 1942 a soldier and a special division of psychics working for the American military must use the help of Andre Toulon's puppets to infiltrate a secret Nazi headquarters and put an end to the evil experiments being conducted there.

A tragic beginning to the film with two surviving characters from the previous film as a Nazi shoots them to death while wanting the case filled with the puppets. However, Captain Brooks kills this evil person. A nicely put moment with the person dying on the gun wound to take care of these puppets as this leaves a good impression for a sequel. However all of the moments we see here looked cheesy and wooden. Especially the CGI effects as you can tell it's from a cheap computer.

The General gives instructions to Brooks and a dwarf Doktor Gerde Ernst. Even if there's good camera shots on this commandment the scene here really was dull and unconvincing. I don't know on how to explain it. It didn't do anything for me as I knew I was in for a disappointment since I liked most of the Puppet Master series.

The nasty NAZI leader Doktor Gerde Ernst introduces herself to Sturmbanfuhrer Steiner Krabke with their cold interactions which seemed impressive for a flick like this one. She shows her puppet creations which look creepier. I was wondering if the one's we all knew would be involved or not. These new one's for sure looked creepier along with good close up shots on them along with showing their deadly devices.
Gerde also tells Steiner about the neon venom which brings them to life. A perfect touch as this is of course was used in all the franchise of the flicks.

At the power station there's two bumbling employees that lacks on what they're talking about. Yet a great close up shot on a werewolf puppet biting his neck and so fourth. This causes an eruption at this station as the explosions had more cheaply computerised special effects. You'd think by now they should get a better budget.

Some intense moments at the Nazi hideout with Steiner using his special powers to torture someone nearly to death. This I found necessary to put into the story. Gerde strongly manipulates a troubled beaten up woman to use her powers in order to find Toulon's puppets. A great evil and firceful moment. THis scene offers great horror taste.

At the home of Brooks reveals alot of strange events like a some sort of lustful egyptian Georgina Vale practising on some sort of a movement like a magic spell or some sort.
We also get to see out little friends including Blade to which Brooks assures the rest that he is a friend as well as good shots on Tunneler and Pinhead moving when discussions are revealed by what is happening. I found this scene to be extremely effective.

When Brooks and the gang goes down to investigate the Nazi's hiseout they are tortured by a force controlled by Steiner. Good takes on them reacting to being in intense pain along with Steiner speaking wickedly towards them. This involves Steiner speaking cruelly as well as killing someone with his powers.
More good horror timing along with the settings as which looked colourful within the lighting on this scene.
During these situations the case where Toulon's puppets were stored we get a great shot on Six-shooter firing away on one of the Nazi's. I cheered as it was nice to see this heroic puppet again. Top top it off Pinhead tries to strangle Gerde in which this was another cherring moment since this woman is an evil bitch.
Up above a perfect shot on Leech Woman spitting one of her deadly leeches onto Steiner's eye. This was another perfect vengeful moment. I always found this puppet quite humoress.

The story starts to pick up with the puppets in action finally as there's lots of slayings involving Tunneler going in for the kill towards one of the Nazi's.
A perfect moment is when another Nazi is pitted against Georgina in which this looked intense. However, she tries to trick him by acting lustful towards him. Like a dummy he gives in. Leech Woman is above watchin all of this. THen she tells this person to open his mouth and close his eyes. Then I kind of got the idea on what Leech Woman will do to him. Boy does his death look intense as well as a good shot on him.
Sadly Georgina sees her fate with one of Herde's puppets that faces this heroic woman. This may upset the audience since we wanted her to do more battling against these Nazi's.

Blade and some of his friends go in for the attacks with another Nazi's which was done in great horror revenge style. This will please all the fans that enjoy the legacy. There's even a shocking moment to please gorehounds created by Blade. I have to admit the effects were a bit better for this scene.

The final moments are between Gerde and Ivan on their discussions as well as how he seems to make movements on some sort of a power he tries to do. She tells him on her plans for her creations after the job is done which isn't a nice one. Good shots on her puppets watching her. While I watched their discussions along with her wicked attitude I wondered if they will kill her for her evil plans. This certainly drew me in wondering as to what will happen next. A strong and still moment within all this.

Bottom line is that this flick is terribly slow to fully understand the going on's and the last chapter of the Axis trilogy. I just hoped that this would be a better one. Lacks a proper budget for the special effects like I already mentioned. Just didn't cut it for me.

The acting is not top shelf and a bit wooden in which Tonya Kay (Doktor Gerde Ernst) really knew on how to act cold blooded, evil and speaking slickly. But however her accent isn't convincing at all. Sounds totally fake within her performance. Sometimes she's over the top too. Yet her looks and how she comes off onto the camera looked great for this part.

George Appleby (Doctor Ivan Ivanov) however, stood out strong with her seriousness and coming across as believably wise to what he was talking about. Certainly had a strong force of nature into what he did here. Studied this part quite well.

Kevin Scott Allen (Sturmbanfuhrer Steiner Krabke) was a string force of nature and a perfect scumbag of a Nazi. Had fair icy words within his speaking. Was fairly convincing getting cold and nasty. For sure was a convinving and evil bully. Reacts well to being in pain or getting forcefully aggressive.

Tania Fox (Elisa Ivanov) showed off the wholesome innocent looks. Does a nice job by acting timid or mellow. She was clear in her speaking as well as showng off some good adrenaline when the terror hits her. A convincing character actress.

Alynxia America (Georgina Vale) showed off a great outgoing behavior which shines on in her performance. Does well within her movements when she is doing some sort of a powerful mode. Also was great when she acts charming in a scene to trick someone with her lusting attitude. Was a strong force of nature while doing this.

Lilou Vos (Oberhelfer Friede Steitze) as a sleazy Nazi was fair in her part. Seems to do okay with her snarky behavior and deadly deeds. Really got into her actions when needed to be this way. Shows off a sickly type of appeal.

Daniele Romer (Antoinette Longpre) had one of the most effective supporting roles. Was perfect by acting troubled and abused by the Nazi's. Offered perfect upsetting emotions as well as doing great with her fearful speaking.

Alynxia America shows off her breasts when doing some sort of a practising spell. Also takes off her top in order to fool a Nazi into being sedused. Then her breasts are fully revealed after being shot to death.

Many bloody gunshots in the story although the special effects were on an amateurish computer.
Blood spitting out as well as many bloodsheds.
Lots of bloody stabbings.
Werewolf puppet bites some victims necks with blood gushing out.
Many of Toulon's puppets drill holes in people's legs as well as Blade cutting through someone's body.
Person's eye is attacked by a vicious leech from Leech Woman.

Richard Band offers a different composing in this one but it didn't please me so much. Some low violin playing for the opening credits. I wasn't impressed with it. Yet the odd trombone sounds seemed to do well. During the terrors some brief great intense music which sounds like was from a violin sounded very effective. Not all of it I disliked so I will give the odd thumbs up for this fellow.
