An uber driver D (Nathaniel Chadwick) is stressed from his job by dealing with so much abuse from certain passengers but is greeted by Nic (Adam Goldhammer) as he offers him a better paying job. However D doesn't realise in what he was getting himself into since he has some bizarre passengers as well as the app tells him to do some things out of the ordinary.

A nice start with the uber driver D picking up some of his passengers and which there's different situations with annoying, aggressive or bitter people that he has to deal with. Definetely shows on what kind of abuse this guy has to deal with as this looked strongly done in.
However, he meets up with his first passenger Nic as he offers him a better deal to make better money which was a nice touch to the story in which I had a good feeling the suspense will come into the story.
During late at night two partygoers takes a ride in his car and one of them vomits which causes a huge quarrelling on him and these two idiots cussing at one another. This looked incredibly natural and believable in which we've experienced people like this. It almost made me wonder if his job would be at stake.
He goes to a creepy looking parking lot and tries to ask someone whom is parked there if he's at the right area and this strange person stares as him in a creepy way. Another great touch to this story.
Nic appears and talks to him about what he wants to do to work for him which at the beginning is uplifting and then gets harsh with him on what happens if he doesn't follow the rules which was believably and unconforting moment wondering if this person is to be trusted or worth working for. This moment was also very well done.
I watched in terror when he picks up his first passenger and if he can abide by the rules that were given to him. Plus when he takes her to her destination she asks him if he can wait for her as she will only be at least a half hour but his app tells him to pick up another customer as he will get paid more money which was a total peer pressuring moment. He was struck between a rock and a hard place. This was well done and the tension happening.
D's next customer is an arrogant, sarcastic and sketchy one in which he acts unpleasant. This moments offers alot of uncomforting tension as it was well done. He also demands D to turn to the next street while the app tells him not to since he has strict rules on this. It made me wonder if this creep will hurt or try to murder him.
This freak gives D something before he departs in which left me a sinking feeling that it's not something pretty especially when he is told that he might need it.
What's even weirder is that the app tells him to get rid of something that this dude left behind which makes the story even more weird like this object has a life of it's own.
The horror comes in more so with his next passenger in which this app tells him to go in the passenger seat along with telling him to do something terrible to him. I was like Whoa!!!! It made me wonder if he will do so. It for sure is a major pressuring moment.
While the story continues, this time, the horror really kicks in more so with a troublemaking passsenger and some people he encountered before in which intense situations start to kick in big time as well as his vehicle seeming to come to life while being endangered by these people which was very well done.
Bottom line is that this came across as a thriller but the horror kicks in as well in which this is a psychological and twisted one. The story was cleverly written in which the tension is shown by different customers with different attitudes. This for sure looked realistic and the downfalls in becoming an uber or cab driver. Definetely doesn't make you want to apply for being one with all the abuse to go through. A nice Canadian flick as it's nice to see a good current flick since we don't see one so much anymore.

The acting is greatly performed but only 1 actor is the main role as the rest were small roles. Yet I will review them as well. As for our main actor Nathaniel Chadwick (D) really brought it out as the uber driver in which he had expressionless looks and is troubled which shines off greatly. Does well nearly losing his sanity and patience. Knew on how to lose his temper when cussing someone out which looked really natural. He was a ball of energy especially while acting disturbed or nervous.
Adam Goldhammer (Nic) presented himself very nicely with his charming behavior offering a job but seems too good to be real in which he drove this type of persona greatly. Does well showing his nasty and threatening attitude being truly intimidating. For sure studied this part inside out.
Christian Aldo (The Cuckoo) was a true force of nature in which he does well as someone you wouldn't want to deal as a passenger. He for sure does well acting intimidating and fearful with his sarcastic and foul mouthed attitude. Looked great for the part as well which is a plus.
Reece Presley (Bro) played a great party type of a punk. Does a nice job with his intense energy. Plus does well by acting demanding. Showed off great adrenaline when he acts violent or tough. For sure was a nice drawing card for when the terror kicks into the story.

Antonio Naranjo composes the music for this piece as there's some female harmonising as well as some sort of deep xylophone music for the opening credits in the flick. I couldn't say that it was my cup of tea though. In parts of the story I heard some wood type banging and heavy sounds which is done at an average pace. Plus some woodwind and flute sounds along with more harmonising which sounded okay. In other spots some hyped electric types of tones and some deep one's too which was mildly annoying.
