A group of sick and perverted psychos travel in their van, picking up people only to strip skin off of them. Their vehicle breaks down so they take refuge in a kind residents place till it's repaired. However, the people nearby becomes their next victims.

In the storyline things start off with a hitchhiker walking through the woods and other parts of the country. He also camps out for the night till the next morning. This seems to drag big time wondering when we're going to get to anything. I had a bad feeling that I was in for a bad storyline.
Then a van with the words Crawldaddy on the side of this vehicle stops for him. But only to being set up. A camera shot is closing in on him as this was supposed to look creepy to watch. Yet it's too trashy especially when we see two freaks approaching him. Ready to kill this person. Not terrifying as it was intended but the gorehounds may like the gruseome results.
After the opening credits involves someone who's car broke down as the maniacs vehicle stops for him. For sure I had a bad feeling that he was next. As I was correct thinking this, he manages to run away in a cornfield with the two maniacs Phink and Violet on his tail. This took way too long. Plus it looked way too slapstick and hokey to keep me in suspense. Yes it looked bad folks.
To make things worst Phink raises his machete to kill this victim but it gets caught in an object. This was supposed to make you laugh. Yet it looked too stupid watching all that was going on here.
This time, their own vehicle breaks down in which they take refuge to a sort of bed n breakfast place while two elderly couples Tom and Whinnie gets a mechanic to fix it.
The gross outs happen big time when a package delivery is out for Crawldaddy in which she accept the parcel. Happens to be a nasty weapon. Something evil happens here after taking it out. Supposed to be a shocking moment and somewhat is. Yet nothing to brag about either.
A retired officer Paul Hickox goes to the basement suite where these sickos are residing and looks around which leaves a sinking feeling that something creepy is about to happen to him. Yet this needs major improvements. He spots something gruesome and somewhat perverted hanging on an object. This is really sick to spot and unnecessary. Trust me it's gross!!!!
A jehovass witness arrives at the property and try to kill him yet he lives while he is mamed. Both Violet and Phink starts to play around with his body. Boy this is the most disgusting moment in their slayings. This victim is supposed to be acting very goofy while doing this. I forgot to laugh that the dark comedy falls flat on this. Boy the moments get sicker and sicker everytime!!!
Paul is having a dispute with his soon to be ex-wife in which he nearly strikes her but her new flame who is somewhat a lawyer stops him. All of this was supposed to look intense and powerfully dysfunctional. Trust me it is way too lacking and over the top to take this moment seriously.
Crawldaddy is invited for dinner with Tom and Whinnie. Boy does she eat like a pig. It's digusting to watch her eat and have a conversation. For sure this moment shows a rude guest at the table. All of this looked incredibly stupid to watch.
Afterwards, Tom goes into the garage to check out their vehicle which I had to admit looked chilling since I knew he was going to discover something gruseome. Boy does it ever. He freaks out and tries to get away. This truly looked suspenseful wondering if he will get caught by one of the maniacs. This moment looked mildly well done. Still doesn't make up for bombing this piece of crap.
Whinnie had leftovers so she went down to the basement suite to offer for Phink and Violet. Of course this is a bad idea since she will discover as to what is down there. Boy does a situation look disgusting with a nearly skinless victim still being alive and talking which looked lame brained spotting this.
She runs out of the house with one of the killers chasing after her. This looked extremely hokey and amateurish to watch. It doesn't look serious to say the least.
Paul goes into battle to wipe out these maniacs and boy I enjoyed as to what he did to Crawldaddy as she was annoying as hell. She for sure got the gruesome results. Especially at first trying to mock him that he doesn't have it in him to kill her. This left a feeling by wondering if he will give in or not.
Then he has a classic gruesome battle with Phink. Some decent bloody camera shots on attacking one another. This should please splatter fans as to what they are both doing towards one another. Especially with the results on Phink. It was trashy looking but energised.
The ending that involves Tom towards Paul looked genuinely twisted. Yet seemed confusing as to why he did what he did. Didn't explain itself too well. Kind of left a door open for a sequel. Thankfully it never happened.
Bottom line is that this splatter flick is for fans who like sick comedy-horror. It's so bad that it's forgetable. Some compare it to Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Quite frankly I don't know what these people were smoking while thinking this. Definitely has little in common except a killer has a sledge hammer involved with some of the killings but that's it. Not even a parody of it even. It's so gross. I think this think almost got an X rating which isn't surprising. An obscure video flick and can see why. Avoid this at all costs.

The acting is god awful as they remained virtual unknowns. If they accept this type of work they will remain that way!!!
Mary Jackson (Crawldaddy) is so annoying with her grunting growly voice. She for sure got on my nerves. Knew on how to act gross and obnoxious. She was over the top though like the rest of the cast. Does a decent job near the end of her performance when she mocks someone. She is not to be mistakened for the same celebrity who appeared on The Waltons. Totally different person alltogether.
Scott Spiegel (Phink) was better off as a writer and director for horror flicks as his acting just sucks. He was way too goofy to come across as a terrorising killer. He didn't intimidate me the least. Just annoying like the rest of the cast. Yet at the end of his role was midly menacing but I do mean mildly.
Susan Rothacker (Violet) was the best out of the cast in which she pulled her wieght a little better. Seemed to do a mediocre job with her slick and skanky attitude. Does a fine job as someone you'd feel like smacking. Her looks and appeal were okay as well.
Floyd Ewing Jr. (Paul Hickox) had the right serious appeal as a retired drunken man of the law. Yet he is way too over the top with whatever he does here. He can't get into character properly. Shows some okay energy within when the terror strikes him.
Lester Clark (Tom Miles) had the right looks and came off the camera well as an elderly caring one. But he really needed lessons as he is mellodramatic with his speaking. He tried to get into character but wasn't a natural. Yet when he is shocked and spooked within a scene seemed to shine off okay.
Barbara Katz-Norrod (Whinnie) was the worst of them all. Her character name fot what she was doing. Way too irritating. Couldn't act her way out of a wet paper bag especially when she is running away screaming. Was lacking a high deal within this. She needs to pursue something else as this isn't for her at all.

Sicko gorehounds will love this!!!!

J.R. Bookwalter composed this piece. I'd like to say that his music is slightly amateurish like the rest of this flick. However, I've heard worst. He uses a synthesizer with icy sounds and some piano tunes for the beginning of the flick. It didn't do much as it was supposed to leave a spooky feel to everything. Cheesy deep sounds for the suspense that happens but it was lacking like the rest of the story. However some neat wavy music for the shocking situations which is the best that he did in the story.
