37 years after the horrific slaughterings that Liz Borden (Sherry Leigh) encountered is now running for the law and is residing in Campo. The LAPD is in contact with her on missing people nearby a ranch with hundreds of run down vehicles.
This property is run by Buddy's younger brother Cleavon Bacon (Bryan Butler) whom is running his business on flame grilled Wonder Jerky.
When Cleavon discovers that his mute son Remdog (Remington Tully) has his problems solved from his ranch closing down when he is running low on meat in order to save his business from closing down. But it's not your everyday meat.

An impressive beginning on a sequel which is a segment from near the end of the original flick and something new added to it which involves the struggle between Liz Borden and Buddy Bacon which was necessary for ending this maniac as we thought during the ending we all thought that Liz was at her fate. However the CGI effects on this was terrible and used on a cheap computer as you can tell if I dare you to watch this flick.
Then it's present day as the story introduces Buddy's younger bro Cleavon Bacon that was mentioned from the original flick but wasn't revealed as to who he is until in this flick as he looks around his area which is the borderline of Mexico and surrounded is a junkyard full of vehicles and hundreds of them with nice camera shots surrounding the area.
The story gets dull with a group of teenage hikers having dull conversations and a few guys starting to play on their guitars in which I was thinking to myself to get on with it!!!! A total time waster while seeing the outcome of all this.
Meanwhile, Cleavon talks to his mute son Remdog whom is butchering beef jerky to still keep his father's business running which isn't doing too well on finding more of it. He tells him to make smaller cuts to sell more for when a festival is about to take place soon in their area. This leaves a hint as to what Remdog will do to keep his business open but none of this left a dark feel to the story. Yet in the area there's a poster of Texas Chainsaw Massacre where Remdog is butchering meat. Classy!!!!
Two of the girls that were hiking previously mentioned are having a discussion near a rocky hill with their lanterns turned on as it's still and late at night. They hear a sound and get spooked in which this was mildly creepy. This moment was a bit of an improvement. However, it goes downhill when the terror strikes which looked terribly phony and contrived. Plus more really bad computerised CGI effects to top it all off. C'mon guys if you're going to make a slasher flick as effective as the original put some money into it!
Remdog certainly knew on what to do to make more beef jerky in which we see him butchering meat to keep his Pa's business running and it's not your everyday meat which looked gross to watch.
Similarities from the original happens when Remdog shows his father as to what he did to keep his business running and he is shocked at first. Yet when I saw the gruesome situations it looked terribly fake.
When the festival happens the situations looked average but not terrible as it seemed that people were having fun along with the DJ from the original flick discussing as to what is happening there. Some nice shots on horses racing and stuff like that.
Our beloved Liz is now working for the law which was impressive on what she is doing as the LAPD contacts her about missing cases on hikers and thinking that they were murdered which left me an impression that she will have to go through hell again after what happened when she was a teenager. This I admit was well done.
A texas businessman Mel Webber comes into the picture by talking to the Mayor on reconstructing Bacon's area to make it a new business area which is leaving an impression that Cleavon will do the same deadly things that his father Lester did in the original. Their conversationsd looked uplifting and energetic.
Mel and Liz meets as well as them having a romantic situation in which all of this flowed together well at an even pace. The chemistry, humor and other moments made these scene's watchable which saves the flick from bombing.
Other well done situations includes the LAPD contacting Liz telling her about some of the Bacon family living in her area and leaving a clue that they are responsible for the murders and so fourth. Boy this was nicely put in and discovering that her nightmare has come true again.
She goes to her father's gravestone to pay a visit along with her talking about the situations which was well shot and a nice add on to the story and very necessary as well.
More hikers appear missing in which Remdog is responsible for doing including putting a couple of them as hostage in a broken down bus. Even two escaped prisoners try to hide out in the junkyard in which some chilling moments as to what will happen here. Might I add there were some bible thumpers entering and boy it doesn't look good for them either. I will admit some of this looked well done which is another reason to sace this from bombing.
Mel pays a visit to Cleavon to tell him he's going to take over his property which was well energised and leaving a good chill down your spine on his plans on what to do to keep his land alive. Sound familiar as to what happened in the first flick????
The party happens with a death metal band playing and people are joining the fun which looked lively. Plus good camera takes on the surroundings.
The best is yet to come which is another reason to save the story from bombing in which Liz checks around the area as she spots what was left of the hikers. Even though the effects for this looked fake I must admit that things looked effective.
The best during this scene is a struggling moment with Cleavon towards Liz when he blames her for the death of his family and a picture of them which is a great touch since we can't forget about what went on in the original. As many people say that they'd save the best for last.
Bottom line is that I'm glad they made a sequel to find out afterwards as to what had happened. However, this one sucked and it looked rushed even more so than what you's see in Return to Sleepaway Camp but that one had more class. The special effects are terrible in this one but was aware that they worked on a low budget. Sorry folks, I'm going to pass on this one.

The acting is not too bad in which we have a reprising role on Sherry Leigh (Sheriff Liz Borden) in which her last name changed since she was in the original. She was on the ball as a woman of the law. Shows off great reactions on situations. Plus does a nice job when talking at a tombstone on situations which she brought to life. She knew on how to be alert on what she spots or looking around along with getting tough near the end of her performance.
Jim Lairmore(Mel Webber) shows off a ton of great enthusiasm as a businessman with his wit and charm. Has a happy go lucky personality. Shows off a believeable romantic type too in a scene which was one of his best moments. Does a nice job by getting stern or showng off some nice intense aggressions near the end of his performance.
(Cleavon Bacon) had the right creepy looks as Buddy's younger brother. He's fairly passable with his eccentric atittude as well. Yes he seems like a passable character actor in which he has a somewhat good gravelly voice as well as doing well with his forceful aggressions. All of this looked quite intense. Maybe this will be a start to other horror characters in the future.
Remington Tully
(Remdog Bacon) as his son however did not look creepy as he was intended to be. He kinda had a babyface look to him. He was fair with his deadly moemnts to others but yet it's nothing to brag about. He didn't have any lines since he was a mute character so it's hard to know as to what to say about him.
Done Dowe
(Mayor) shows a happy go lucky type of behavior and was quite convincing with his humoress and talkative attitude. Really was on the ball by what he was doing and was believably friendly with his approaching personality. Had the right looks and motive too. A true character actor and can see him getting other gigs.

exposes his butt while rolling out of bed.

Throats slashed.
Person's meat is being cut.
Body parts are being butchered here and there but you can tell it's a dummy. Yes the effects look that bad.
Decapitation is revealed.
Persons head is bloodily shot.

Some of the music I couldn't get into especially during the opening credits with a solo violin music weeping. I would've chosen for something better. Nice uplifting twanging music for a festival as this blends in nicely. Some brief dark sounds worked well for the slayings as well as to what is done with the body parts in which we hear some good creepy airy synthesizer music. However there is some odd comedic type music for the stale humor which didn't tickle my fancy. The music improves with deadly synthesizer music when someone tries to hunt down Cleavon Bacon and so fourth.

Liz Borden: I like my pork well done!!!!

Sheriff Liz Borden: Oh my god!..... What is this!?

Cleavon Bacon: You killed my old man!!!
Sheriff Liz Borden: He killed mine!!!!
Cleavon Bacon: You killed my brother Buddy!.... Now it's gonna be your turn!
