Two partying friends on Halloween night, Tara (Jenna Kanell) and Dawn (Catherine Corcoran) goes to a pizza shop and encounter the demented Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton) whom is a serial killer in which he stalks and massacres anyone he encounters as these two partgoers are his next victim or anyone who gets in the way.

During the start of the film looked fun to watch in a B-movie fashion in which there's a TV revealing an interview on some dead people and then the opening credits srts to roll in which we see our beloved horror killer Art the Clown getting ready to dress up as well as getting his weapons ready almost in a Freddy Krueger type of fashion as this looked entertaining to watch big time.
Then something bizarre happens to one of the women on the TV looking faceless along with an artsy slaughtering as this will please fans of splatter films in which this was just the beginning on everything.
Two drunken friends Tara and Dawn are going to a pizza shop after a Halloween party in which Art decides to follow them there as this looked cheesily creepy especially when he gives them an evil grin. Dawn gets flirtatious with him and asks for a picture as these moments looked a little corny to watch but hey that's me.
The owner of the pizza place Steve gets aggressive with Art which is a bad idea in which we get a sinking feeling that he will become his next victim.
When the girls leave to go to their vehicle they realise their tires have been slashed in which they get a sinking feeling that it was Art's doing as this was well put into the story wanting to watch for more which leaves a nice spooky feel to it all.
Meanwhile back at the pizza parlour there's some gross stuff in the restroom that Steve had to clean up which is not a good idea while watching this and eating at the same time.
When he returns to the parlour some gruesome looking piece of art is revealed and of course Art is ready to kill and boy does this offer a ton of horror violence which any horror fan of this genre will love.
Back at the car Tara and Dawn have a sarcastic conversation as well as Dawn makes a comment towards Mike the Exterminator when he comes out of an area that he was working on. Tara needs to use a restroom and is taken to the grungiest one in which this can make anyone grossed out to use it. Good shots on the surroundings here.
Dawn waits for Tara to come back without paying attention hearing the door open and shut thinking it's her but boy I had a sinking feeling that it wasn't her. This moment was untra creepy.
Tara runs into a mhysterious woman called the Cat Lady which was a nice add on into the story as she's holding a baby doll treating it like a baby. This moment certainly draws out the creepiness into the story.
Art finds Tara in which she's on the run from him as she tries to hide from him in which the scene's that were used here looked good and dark for a horror flick adding great chemistry.
Tara is tied up in a chair as it seemed to remind me of other horror films like Hostel and Saw within what happens here when she sees her friend getting tortured to death as well as it being a gruesome way to die and painful too. Plus it looked perverted too. Another pleaser for splatter fans.
Tara seeks revenge against this evil clown but however it lacked intensity with this hapening. Of course in all horror films things backfire and boy is Art deadly within what he does here.
More twisted shocking moments starts to occur when Tara's sister Victoria tries to escape from Art's madness as he sees what looks like a nude woman only to reveal something creepy about this evil clown which has a perfect darkness into this situation and a bit clever to watch as well.
Art tries to suffocate her to death as I wondered if the makers borrowed this off of a memorable scene from Black Christmas. Nevertheless it kept me in suspense wondering if she will survive his evil grasps as it looked fairly intense.
The final showdown when the police come to the rescue demands Art to put his gun down as this made me watch big time as to whether or not that he will do it. However this clown is clever as what he plans to do which is a peer pressuring moment to the cops.
Bottom line is that this is an okay splatter flick offering tons of shocks and dark moments. Taking place on Halloween should be a pleaser party goers. Definetely has something going for it even if there's alot of gross out moments involving a public restroom and so fourth. Some of it lacked though but not too badly at the same time.

The acting is not too badly performed in which Jenna Kanell (Tara) seemed to show off a no nonsense attitude within whatever she did here. Was good by acting serious and courageous. Also does a nice job acting fearful as well as trying to show energy while fighting back but needed a bit of a push. Still the energy was there.
Samantha Scaffidi (Victoria) shows off a nice spunky type of behavior as well as showing good positive energy with her outgoing type of behavior. Shows off some great bubbly humor when flirting with the clown as well as doing a good job later on near the end of her performance crying and screaming in terror which shines off greatly.
David Howard Thornton (Art the Clown) was great in his role as a psychopath. Shows off a creepy grin alot of the times which can't be shaken off at all. Plus was great by being menacing and deadly within all that he had to do here. He really got into his role a huge deal.
Catherine Corcoran (Dawn) drew in greatly when she appeared in halfway to the story really acting alert within what surrounded here. She also does a nice job by screaming or getting scared which she did this in great taste. She showed alot of adrenaline with her fearful attitude and played a great victim.
Pooya Mohseni (Cat Lady) was the most mysterious one. She for sure brought alot into her eccentric character. Was believeable in her soft spoken speaking. Also does well with her pleading behavior coming across as strangely innocent. She did all of this with great style.
Matt McAllister (Mike the Exterminator) certainly had the right looks and appeal for this role. He seemed to perform nicely as someone whom is a bit grouchy and very serious. Also does a good job when getting aggressive when the terror strikes as he really pushes this attitude to a full thrust.

A topless girl is hung upset down breasts fully revealed.
The clown is nude with tirn skin of a breasted woman that he wears as well. (Creepy indeed)

Bring it on as there's a woman with a gruesome faceless appeal.
Artsy look on a face slaughtered and carved.
Fingers chopped off
Head is revealed slaughtered in a jack o lantern style.
Leg is bloodily shot.
Body sliced in half.
Many slaughterings.
Tons of gushing blood.
Many violent bloodsheds.

Paul Wiley composed the score in this one which was mainly electronic music as it didn't impress me at first. Yet later on it seemed to fit the slaughterings as it offered deep gloomy sounds. Plus he really brought it on in the dark moments when people were hiding from the killer clown. So I must say it worked in perfectly later on in the story. He seemed to know his craft in a good fashion.
