Resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton) returns to Miles County to terrorize a teenage girl Sienna (Lauren LaVera) and her younger brother Jonathan (Elliot Fullam) on Halloween night in which they are tormented in their nightmares about this maniac. He also plays tricks on them at their school and a party too.
Along the way he decides to go on a killing spree in the area and neighborhood by trick or treating his own way.

Oh yessss!!!! The story takes after to what we might think that Art the Clown was going to be cremated at a mortuary he is resurrected but doesn't explain as to how this happened since there's no explanation on supernatural events whatsoever. Definetly needed an explanation here.
Anyhow a nice moment with this bloodthirsty killer slashing a coroners throat as this poor fellow tries to call 911 and he gags and chokes out his words. This left an impression on me that he won't succeed. Then afterwards we spot as to what happens to him which with please splatter fans that like their victims sliced and diced. This is only the beginning for shocking horror violence that occurs in the story.

What's more twisted is that Art goes to a late night dry cleaning place to wash the blood from his outfit and is nude while waiting for his clothes to being done. If you think this is twisted by the sounds of it, trust me I dare you to watch the outcome here.
While waiting in the drycleaners a shocking situation that involves a little pale girl in a clown suit staring at him which is a new twist than in the original. This seemed to fit into the sequel here but she does something completely gross which I didn't think was necessary.

Of course when a year later passes the story revolves around a dysfuntional widowed mother Barbara with her two kids Sienna and Jonathan on what they plan to dress for Halloween which was drawn in nicely. Especially Jonathan wanting to dress as Art the Clown and it was discussed that it's a bad idea about a real life killer. I liked this scene as it was well written into the story.

Sienna has a weird dream on a carnival of weirdos singing about Art the Clown as I had to admit looked very hokey to watch. But yet quite colourful with alot of hyped up action. Thinks look fun and then deadly as when she wakes up thinking it was a nightmare but this moment tricks you big time. Definetly pays a homage to something like 'A Nightmare On Elm Street'. This situation packs a great suspenseful moment.

Another type of 'Elm Street' type tribute as in Art's hideout spot he creates a bat and putting deadly weapons on it revealing good close up shots on what he does which looked deadly while this is unravelling.
The little pale girl is involved here in which this looked creepy while we see the situations that happens between the two of them and their evil plans later on. I thought this looked impressive.

Sienna goes to a costume store in which Art is there watching her carefully. This of course was genuinely creepy.
When she leaves Art locks the door which left a chill down my spine that this employee is soon to be his next victim as he slowly pays for what he plans to buy or so we think. Of course he has his sack in which there's a good close up shot on what's inside revealing deadly weapons. If you think what I'm thinking yes a creepy feeling that this employee is dead meat. It was well done.
This is not a pleaser afterwards in which it will gross you out from what our friend Art does with the outcome of all this.

Jonathan catches Art and the little pale girl in his school hallway with a dead opossum as this looks gross as to what they do to this dead object. This was totally gross to watch. It also makes you wonder or not as if he's dreaming. It was for sure a strange scene.

More dysfuncitonal moments with Barbara towards her son Jonathan as this looked very psychological. Makes you wonder if this woman will hit his kid by how she talks to him. I also felt like slapping this woman by how she treats him. It was strongly well done.

It's hallows eve and Art decides to go trick or treating in which one of the residents says he's too old as this was another chilling moment making me think that she will be next.
Torture and maming is involved here which doesn't look pretty at all. Good graphic close up shots as well as many sick moments later on just like with the previous slayings. This one stands out as the most shocking of them all. Splatter fans will take a nod to all this.
A sick comedic moment happens with him delivering candy to trick or treaters which I won't give away but well put into after what he does to this poor victim.

The fun happens with Sienna and her friend Brooke partying out. The setting looked very convincing that you's like to join in on the fun but then the terrors happen and you will see what I mean.
THen when it looks like that Jonathan is calling her on her cell which involves Art and the little pale girl taking him to a funhouse. This looked twisted big time. I won't give this scene away.

The most fun happens when Sienna goes to the funhouse while trying to rescue her brother in which it shows everytjing you can imagine as to what is there and more.
Lots of intense attackings and stuff like that. However the story drags a bit within all of this. Yet some nice horror revenge moments by what goes on here. These moments were the best in the story saving it from being just an average flick.

Bottom line is that this flick isn't for everyone's taste especially for anyone who can't handle intense horror violence. It focused on that alot in fact and not shortening it down. However like the first flick can be fun to watch with a group of friends for the joy of splatter films. I do admit for what they put into this looked well done. Yet this one like the first was a little too long.

The acting is pretty good in which Lauren LaVera (Sienna) offers a good strong attitude in her role as well as coming across as a mature and bright type on the flick which she shows off greatly. Plus really knew on how to freak out or get intense when she is being attacked or vice versa. Yes she showed off great adrenaline into her role.

Elliott Fullam (Jonathan) seemed to do a nice job as a mischievious type of kid wanting to explore situations. Also drew in greatly with his energy and enthusiasm too. He also showed good characteristics when he got emotional or upset. He definetly stood out well.

Sarah Voigt (Barbara) lived to play a basket case widowed mother. Does well with her vulga attitude as well as doing a good job with her dominant attitude. It made you wonder if she will get physical towards whom she talks to. Was a beliveable nag and someone that you would love to hate.

Kailey Hyman (Brooke) had a real effective supporting role as a typical partying teenager and offering a beliveable bubbly attitude. Shows alot of greatl energy when trying to have a good time and feeling believeably great by what she does. Plus shows iff a nice versatality when she shows that she is pissed off and coming off strongly while behaving this way/

David Howard Thornton
(Art the Clown) once again was perfect by acting creepy as well as throwing in the punches when he attacks someone. He was perfectly powerful within all that he did here as well as showing off a good terrifying presence. Another gold star for him like he was in the previous flick.

The clown is naked while taking off his bloody clothes in a laundromat.
Girl's breast is briefly revealed taking a shower.

Yes tons of gore and not for anyone who has a strong stomach.
Tons of violent bloodsheds.
Slit throats.
Heads are sliced with brain exposed.
Arms legs and heads are chopped off..
Faces are carved off.
Bloody stabbings.
Trust me folks it's not a certain victim that this happens it's a total drawing card to the story.

Paul Wiley once again composes this piece as it's some of the same old that he used in the original. At first it was the electronic music. It changes later on. Some of it had high pitched synthesizer music as it almosy paid a tribute to those retro slasher flicks like Halloween and so fourth. At times we hear deep laser sounds for when Art the Clown appears up to his deadly tricks which worked in nicely. The odd airy sounds happens which I wasn't a fan of. In other spots for the dark moments some odd mechanical and screeching sounds which was mediocre.
