After the suicide of a troubled student who took his life due to being bullied, a group of teachers decides to host a faculty party on New Years Eve only to discover that a bloodthirsty killer in a Father Time mask is lurking by with an unusual request: participate in a scavenger hunt--or die. While this happens, these party goers have deep dark secrets of their own in which they confess while they play this deadly game.

A well done mysterious start off with a troubled teen in the snowy woods and takes hids life before the opening credits starts to take place which looked fairly well done for a low budget holiday slasher flick such as this one.
When the story unravels, we spot some cheesy one liners with teachers and students in a faculty party at this kid's school. During all of the situations taking place there's a scene with two teens making out.
This leaves a clue that the killer will do some of these people in with a mysterious backshot on the killers hands by using the back of a hammer as well as an axe for it's next victims.
Of course the killings looked a bit off and cheesy but that was the fun of this happening that it's so bad it's good. What's really entertaining is that the killer is wearing Father Time mask. This was done in fair taste.
The teachers all have a house party during new years eve in which their discussions were a little stiff and not looking like a happy situation but again, they had every right not to since there was a suicide and some murders afterwards so it blends into the story a bit.
Suddenly they all get a mysterious note telling them on what to do as it was leaving off a nice chilling start to what mayhem will take place after along with a video on someone's phone video with two students being tortured in which was done in nice mysterious horror taste.
Plus there's bloody red arrows telling this group of teachers as to what they need to do in which is instructed to bury their cell phones taking place in the snowy deep dark woods. A great mysterious horror moment which seems to pay a tribute to a 1996 Wes Craven flick.
Jacqui is about to go into a library while Tony doesn't advise it as he thinks the killer may be inside in which this is another well written in scene by making things seem quite spooky.
While we watch the film there's some flashback moments that involves this kid and a memorable discussion with Tony talking to him and showing sympathy. The settings for this was not too shabby.
Plus a moment with the gym teacher Cliff bullying this poor kid. This moment was strongly done in. I was thinking that he will get his in the end. This scene is not for a kid who gets bullied alot by teachers or his peers it looks that disturbing.
Then the killer in the mask has a girl he has caught and telling both Cliff and Gene telling them only one of them will survive in which Cliff has a dark secret, there's a baseball bat war between the two of them as this looked perfectly intense to watch the outcome of this. I was wondering as to who will survive this.
This scene looked greatly done in a slasher flick and may please gorehounds after what happens here which I won't give away. The moments here look powerfully done and the filmmaker deserves credit.
Alot of gruesome shocking killings while the killers are revealed in which things look perfectly twisted when we think this person is the one doing the terrors but it's a real brain teaser along with some other flashbacks.
While all of these occurs the story later on becomes a bit dull as I nearly gave it a 3 bat rating. It's not terrible by all means, since there's alot of action happening during these moments, but the last minute scene's could've been better. A door opens for a sequel so let's hope they do one.
Bottom line is that this is a fun type of low budget slasher flick but at times lacking. It seemed to pay a homage to the Scream legacy without the killer phoning their victims. It's well done in some spots of the story and not so badly done either.

The acting is in fair shape in which we see a powerful performance done by Damian Maffei (Cliff) in which he proves his lead role worthy as someone whom is arrogant or unpleasant. Shows off with a believeable stubborn attitude especially in a scene that he refuses to bury his cell phone which shines off nicely. Plus has a believeable bullying attitude in a flashback scene when he is teaching in gym class. Yes a worthy character actor.
Hannah Fierman (Jacqui) was another good lead in the story as she shows off a good nervous and upsetting attitude with what goes on and rolls with it. Plus was good by being emotionally upset too. Reacts well to situations and making this look truly convincing.
L.C. Holt (Tony) however is a better filmmaker than trying to play a character in this flick. He was very wooden within speaking in his lines. Yet he made his part mysterious as well as coming off well onto the camera. But he is not a character actor by any means.
Jonathan Tiersten
(Gene) Ahh yes! It's great to see him back acting in the horror genre as he performs his role very smoothly. Does a nice job with his sarcastic attitude. Also shows his aggressive attitude at a full thrust as well giving it all that he got whenever he needed to be this way. Plus was great getting into action when trying to attack someone. I found this to be his best performance.
Kamarra Cole (Rachel) shows off a somewhat friendly and outgoing type of personality during the beginning of her performance in which this looked well performed. Also shows a nice versatality when getting aggressive and evil later on in which she does this just as well. Yes she deserves good credit.
Felissa Rose (Officer Powell) who also produced this flick only has a 2 brief scene cameo in this one but thought she should be mentioned. Although she is annying and over the top for most of the flicks I've seen her in seems to be okay in this one as she shows off a tough cop attitude as well as being short on what she says.

A teen sitting by a tree blows his brains out.
Backside of a hammer is stabbed in a teachers head.
Violent bloodsheds.
Throat is slashed open.
Decapitated head is revealed.
A girl is split in two.
Arm is snapped and mangled.
Fingers are cut off.

Alexander Taylor composes this piece and does it with great taste as in some spots sounds like music from retro cult classic flicks that we horror fans remember. In the beginning we hear some light piano playing with whooshing sounds suiting on what goes on there. Also there's some bell sounds and high pitched eerie synthesizer playing during the middle of the story which is catchy. More good hissing and airy sounds with adventureous clanging too here and there. Of course we can't forget the classical violin music as this was done in nice style too. Overall this composer was perfect for this flick with his scores.
