A mysterious child Katy Collins (Paige Connor) has been disrespecting her elders including her mother Barbara (Joanne Nail). She has telekinetic powers along with being the antichrist in which she becomes the prize in a fight between forces of good and evil.

While first spotting the film it looked twisted showing a different dimension along with someone summoning up some storm clouds and other things. It kinda reminded me a scene in Phantasm as this one came out the same year too.
Afterwards someone whom is apparently known as Jesus Christ is telling a story to bald headed children which looked twisted to watch as I wondered if this scene was from a different dimension as well. Lots of great close up shots on this event.
When the story gets going on planet Earth there's many good camera takes on a basketball game as well as the devil's child Katy Collins sitting down and staring at a basketball player before the final game is coming to an end which made me cringe wondering if something bad is going to happen. Certainly drew me in wanting to watch bit by bit and was well performed.
When Katy's mother Barbara returns home there's a near jumping moment when her bird flies past her nearly attacking her as this was very effective and what's more effective is when Katy is smart mouthing her mother which made me think that she will get worst and be more terrifying. She also tells her mother that she wants a brother which made things seem awfully strange.
Then something eerie happens in a conference room hosted by Dr. Walker as he talks to Raymond Armstead about Katy as well as why she is there which was well drawn in telling him that Katy is going to have a brother and discussing the antichrist situations. This scene looked well done for a horror tale.
Then it's Katy's birthday in which she opens her present and it's not something that you'd expect as a present and a tragic moment happens when she shows her mother which was shocking to watch.
After Barbara returns home she hires a maid Jane Phillips to help around the hom and brings her pet birds in which Katy warns this woman that her bird can tear them apart if she's not careful with them as this is another disturbing discussion adding more to the horror story.
After a detective tries to talk to Katy before going to school she is vulgar towards him and later on he is driving on a highway and is attacked by her bird as this looked incredibly suspenseful with the car swerving around and causing accidents on the road as it made me gasp while watching every take in the story.
Barbara is driving at night with Katy and the car breaks down and then a good shot on a truck with lights is charging towards the car which makes you wonder if this big vehicle will smash into hers as the scene hints that but things get more twisted after this but won't give this one away but I will tell you it's strange.
Jane warns Barbara that Katy is bad as this left a chill down my spine wondering if something more serious is about to happen.
A mysterious man Jerzy Colsowicz is on the run from Katy which was packed with good action as she reveals her telekinetic powers making me wonder if she has killed him or not. Plus a great scene when they're in a mirror maze as this situation is full of mysterious moments.
What is the most creepiest moment is when Barbara is at home and Katy's head is turned while playing her video as you wonder what will happen when she turns around as this moment made me jump out of my seat. There's also great intense struggling moments between the two of them along with some of the other characters who aren't what they seem as this adds more great horror formula.
Jerzy uses his powers on atop of a building which offered great sci fi effects and fun to watch when he has a deadly plan for Katy involving all kinds of birds ready to attack as this scene made me wonder if the makers saw The Birds. It was done in great vengeful style.
Bottom line is that this was an entertaining sci-fi/horror flick made by italian fillmmakers as they travelled to the US to makde this flick. It's a very strange tale in which at times is a bit confusing yet very mysterious. It seemed like a cross between The Omen and Alice Sweet Alice. It's worth checking out.

The acting is quite good in which Joanne Nail (Barbara Collins) had a loving mellow motherly style as she really knew on how to portray this part very well. Does a nice job trying to do her best to talk to her onscreen daughter in which her interactions flowed very well. She also does a great job with her fearful intensity and her screaming too as well as acting shocked when the terror strikes her.
Paige Conner (Katy Collins) lived to play an evil brat in this one as she does well mouthing off to people and acting beliveably deadly within whatever she does here. She was clear within her speaking and adds a ton of energy within whatever she did here.
Lance Henriksen
(Raymond Armstead) drew in well with his seriousness as he comes across as someone trying to get to a point with whatever he had to do here. Also has a nice patient type of behavior too and does a great job with his situations. He was a good character actor.
John Huston
(Jerzy Colsowicz) adds a terrific presence with his mysterious and almost ghostly presence. Offers a nice charm to his role as well as doing a nice job by acting helpful which made his part incredibly believeable. He stood out the most out of all the actors.
Shelley Winters (Jane Phillips) really stood out too in her part as the maid as she had a great high strung along with a great hyped up type of behavior which looked incredibly powerful for all she did here along with having a great aggressive attitude whenever needed to be.
Mel Ferrer (Dr. Walker) definetely had a creepy presence onto the camera as well as having a terrific seriousness to his personality. Does a nice job with what he's talking about as he seemed to come across as sort of evil.
Glenn Ford (Det. Jake Durham) has a nice appearance as he definetely has a nice deepness to his voice and having the right motive to what he was doing. Also was good at being serious but trying to be calm and nice to what he had to do in the scene's of the film.

Franco Micalizzi did the music for this piece and it sounded great like most italian composers make their music quite unique than the same old classical music. He has some great seaking and screechy noises for the near terrifying incidents which he did a good job focusing each part of that story. ALso has great 70's sounds with the adventureous trumpet playing as this stands out strongly. Plus good outerspace music from when there's a summoning. Plus near the end of the tragic incidents there's good vocalising which was a nice bonus. Yes sir he was a great choice.

Detective Jake Durham: Now listen to me, Katy, isn't there something you want to tell me?
Katy Collins: Yeah. Go fuck yourself!

Katy Collins: I'm smarter than all of you.
Detective Jake Durham: Now maybe you are, maybe you are... But let me ask you just one last question and I promise, I won't ask you anything else. What happened to the gift your aunt gave you for your birthday?
Katy Collins: You better write it down...
[she motions for him to come closer, then whispers]
Katy Collins: Right up your ass!

Jerzy Colsowicz: [Holding Katy, now apparently cured] She thought I wanted to kill her. You can't kill children. only the evil part. That's no more.
